..and then you have individuals like Brianna Wu that use their unnatural status to harass others. If they can’t do that, they’ll use every resource to shut you up or cut you off - since they’re OK with committing harassment.

This reminds me of an article I once read about a guy in England who had the surgery. He bitterly regretted it later. He said that what he needed was serious therapy; not a sex change. I wish I could remember where I read it.

You missed the point. Your 3-year-old’s personal interests are irrelevant to his sex. If he preferred to play with cooking toys or paint flowers, he would still be a boy, and hopefully you would recognize that. The parents of “transgender children” would think that an interest in cooking “proves” that he’s “really” a girl.
My 3-year-old daughter recently announced, while throwing sofa cushions at her brother, “I’m Mulan’s captain!” (Apparently this Disney character throws large objects.) I did not immediately recognize that she’s “really” a Chinese man. Instead, I said, “Isn’t that nice. Now stop throwing the cushions, or I’ll put you to bed.”
Little children have a very tenuous concept of reality, and there’s nothing wrong with that. The problems arise when people reach chronological adulthood and still can’t deal with reality.
