Jeb Bush holds a commanding lead over Sen. Marco Rubio among registered Florida Republicans, who have soured on the senator since he announced his presidential bid in April, a new poll shows.
In the crowded GOP field, Bush leads the second-place Rubio 28 to 16 percent in their home state, according to Mason Dixon Polling & Researchs survey. In Mason-Dixons poll three months ago, Rubio was essentially tied with Bush 31 to 30 percent.
Rubios 15 percentage-point drop coincides with the rise of Gov. Scott Walker, whos now in third place with 13 percent an 11 point increase for the Wisconsin governor since the April survey.
And the center of the GOP political universe of late Donald Trump is in fourth with 11 percent, Mason Dixon pollster Brad Coker said in a written analysis.

Hey 4th out of 16 is in the top 25%.
It’s so early for these polls. I don’t think they mean that much at this point. I think this one is trying to get traction for Jeb. Matters most I guess because Bush and Rubio are from the same state.
Any vote for Bush/Rubio is a wasted vote. If its Bush, you abandon your base. If you’re OK with that, then do what you think is right, of course. But don’t kid yourself.
Really? This is their home state and Trump was never even coming close to winning it. You are grasping at straws.
I cannot figure out why Rubio ran this time. With Jeb in the race, there is little chance a first time Senator is going to outpace a popular 2 time governor with massive resources. For awhile I thought Jeb was going decline a run and endorse Rubio and put his resources there. Now, if Rubio got out, Walker or Cruz would benefit more than Jeb. Rubio should have either run for governor or stayed in the Senate.
His only angle may be to get selected as VP is Walker or Cruz are the nominee.
Rubio will probably be the first to drop out.

Anyone know why Rubio resigned to run in a race he can’t win?*
I can’t figure it out and don’t remember hearing.
Promised VP? Was going to lose re-election?
?
How does Jebsito increase his percentage given he already has 100% name recognition? Ditto Marco in Florida?
Rubio lost 15% and Bush lost 1%. The real story is that both Bush and Rubio are losing ground in their home state.
Floriduuh wants the super RINO Bush as Pres.
Bush will not win Florida in the General.
he is running for VP and name recognition for the future. Also he has more options working for a news anchor for telemundo or Univision or a cable network. (ala huckster)
Rubio has said he won’t run for re-election to the senate... IIRC.
Have Floridians forgotten or simply do not care about Terri Schiavo?
Well he’d better get that lobbying gig lined up real quick.
Poor Marco. Guess he will be selling insurance in 2017
¡Yeb! and Rubberio are on the side of illegal aliens and their employers and against the rule of law and the citizens.
How could anyone vote for them?
I think “Home State” polls like this give some interesting political insights that national polls miss.
On election day 2014, a National Election Pool (NEP) poll of Texas voters asked “Would Ted Cruz make a good president” and “Would Rick Perry make a good president?”
Ted Cruz - “NO”(50%) - “YES”(35%)
Rick Perry - “NO”(59%) - “YES”(34%)
http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/elections/2014/TX/L/exitpoll
Those results, if accurate, are astounding (NEP does the all the election day polling for the major networks, Associated Press, and New York Times - so, assume some Left side bias).
I live in Florida. A lot of people here don’t like Jeb Bush and won’t vote for him.
So why is he 1st?
