Okay, “Muslim immigration halted in wake of Chattanooga terrorism attack” isn’t today’s newspaper headline. But it ought to be.
We ought to halt all legal immigration and refugee resettlement from Muslim-majority countries and declare an indefinite moratorium — until two changes occur. First, we must devise a better way to identify and deny admission not only to terrorists but also to persons who sympathize with radical Islamism. It will surprise the average American to learn we are not capable of doing that today.
The need for those new rules is highlighted by a recent poll showing more than 40 percent of Muslims in the U.S. would like to see Sharia law imposed, and an alarming number admit a sympathy for ISIS and radical jihadists.
Second, we must change naturalization laws to create a 7-year probationary period during which any new citizen of any religion or national origin can be stripped of citizenship and deported easily if the person demonstrates any support for radical Islamists.
Why do this? Because we are at war with radical Islam. It is time we started acting like we understand that reality.
I am not suggesting we end all Muslim immigration forever, but a moratorium is overdue so we can develop new, more sensible and effective policies and screening procedures.

Good grief. It should have been halted the first time they tried to blow up the WTC, or at least after 9/11.
No kidding, the border should have been sealed.
No mohammedan immigration if you want to keep your country, your freedom, and your life.

I don’t recall any German, Italian, or Japanese immigration influx during WWII. You don’t bring a Trojan Horse into your country while you are at war.
The least we should do is import South American head hunters to “recycle” allah the heads the slimes will be chopping!
Islam/musloids should be purged from the United States...Japan gets it...we should, as well.

I agree, but it’s seems that almost no one listens to Tancredo these days, from either party. Maybe because he is a political threat to no one.
As an added bonus, those immigrants who say they are Muslim need to sign a document recognizing Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish nation.
It SHOULD have been halted after the 911 ATrocities
that converted the Pentagon to the Army of Hasan
that supports and arms al Qaeda
and has utterly deserted the American people
and US Constitution.
Islam is engaged in a war against America even if most of their soliers - muslims - are not on the front lines.
Tancredo is right and any Muslims who are not US citzens need to be deported.
Another lonely voice crying out in the wilderness while Obama delivers nuclear arms to a regime that openly vows to destroy us. You couldn’t make this stuff up.
