It turns out the rumors of Donald Trump's demise in the wake of comments about former prisoner of war John McCain were greatly exaggerated.
A new Economist/YouGov poll shows the bombastic billionaire remains on top of the GOP presidential poll. Trump has 28 percent support, followed Jeb Bush at 14 percent, Scott Walker at 13 percent, Ben Carson at 7 percent and Rand Paul at 5 percent.

So what's the takeaway? Here's what YouGov said: "There is clearly a core group of registered voters who identify as Republicans that has coalesced around Trump's tough talk and proposals. He is even more clearly in first place than he was two weeks ago when Republicans are asked to choose among the current candidates."
Yes, i am Ok with that.
Trump is extreme conservative on these issues:
1. Illegals
2. Military
3. Veterans
4. Foreign trade (biggest factor in lack of jobs here)
5. Obamacare (Trump will cancel Obamacare with executive order and propose private sector cost effective healthcare)
6. Balanced budgets
7. Iran
8. ISIS
9. Infra structure
That is enough conservative for me.
Just this week:This is all a result of TrumpCruz challenged the GOP leadership.
Lee challenged the GOP leadership.
Paul challenged the GOP leadership.
Cotton railed against the SoS, Obama and the Iran deal (or double-dealing).
People are emboldened by the positive public reaction of Trump being admired for speaking out on what's right.
Who knows? Trump could change what seems to be an upside down world and never be elected. Already he has a bill nicknamed after him.

The advantages of Trump, he won’t have DC insiders in the administration, only his own people. All the other candidates will have insiders keeping the status quo train on the tracks.
Trump seems to have dodged the bullet on the hero comments, but it’s just a matter of time before he says something else that will end his run or until someone with a brain peaks into his closet of a million skeletons.

A decent number of rank and file Republicans actually like the Bush family. And some percentage of that is a reaction because W has been demonized by the MSM for a decade.
I realize the Bush’s are poison on FR, but finding a moderate level of Jeb Bush support doesn’t surprise me at all. With his big budget, he’ll be a factor for a long time in the race.
