The real problem is that we need some sort of judicial determination that anchor babies are not American citizens.
I like Texas’s solution, which is that they will not issue a birth certificate unless the parents can show they are there legally, but I assume that will get shot down at some point.
Neither do the Democrats. They will soon have an insurmountable majority that will never be overcome, thanks to illegal immigration that flourishes along our virtually wide open southern border. Less than a decade ago I never saw an obvious Hispanic any where any time in the small town where I live. Now the obviously Hispanic customers in our 2 supermarkets probably make up at least 15-20% of the customers on any given weekend.
I'm not a racist bigot and I don't have any animosity toward Hispanics, I just want them to abide by our immigration laws as did the countless immigrants from Europe a few generations ago. Perhaps if they obey our laws they can climb the socio-econo ladder to monetary and societal success the same way so many of those European immigrants did. As for those very few who come here legally I only wish them success both financially and socially, but I don't want the illegal situation that Obama is creating solely for the benefit of his political party.
