What a horrible idea. You’ve got all sorts of little girls who like cars and guns (the horror!) who given the chance will grow up to be moms and wives and who should NOT be exposed to 5th grade boys in the bathroom!
I won’t give her name or even the school, but the principal at our school was asked at a PTA meeting “How will you handle it when a child who thinks he or she is the opposite sex wants to use the bathroom that they feel is gender appropriate to them?”
She turned around and pointed to the boy’s restroom and said “If you have a penis you go in there, if you have a vagina you use the ladies room”. You could probably hear the applause from the parking lot :)
Aren’t transgendered kindergartners exceedingly rare? They don’t even know they’re confused at that age.
