But some liberal newspapers, such as the anarchist but well-funded daily Libération, are comparing those who fought to save Vincent with Islamic State fighters, and his wife Rachel, crying profusely, told the press that the terrorists had won. Unbelievable.

There are many things that would prevent me from voting for JEB, but the Schiavo murder is right at the top.

It's a strange superstition that death by starvation isn't murder while death by a morphine injection is.

Praise God for this reprieve! May it be so until Vincent’s natural death.

What’s in it for the “Wife”?

A few years ago, I heard a news item in French where a man had been supposed to be in a coma for several years, but, as it turned out, he was in a “locked-in” state where he was aware but unable to interact with the world.
Perhaps knowledge of that case influenced people to intervene on Vincent’s behalf. More people in France may be aware that “unresponsive” does not mean “unaware”, and thus public opinion may be more favorable towards allowing this man to live despite his infirmity.
Keep in mind that our news media consistently misrepresented Terri as being “brain-dead”, which she was not. That untruth helped sway public opinion towards supporting her gruesome and brutal murder.
Let us pray that Vincent is allowed to live his full natural span of days, and that those who consider allowing him to live an “act of terrorism” do not get their way.

it’s funny how the most rabid opponents of capital punishment are completely silent when the state demands life support be removed for incapacitated citizens.
the devil is a,live and well in the hearts of so many on the left. there is no dignity in starving a person to death. none. it’s much more torturous than lethal injection, electric chair, gas chamber, or firing squad. it takes up to 3 days to die from dehydration.

Jebster blew it with Terri Schiavo. Had he boldly intervened at the end to save her despite the death court order he would have been a conservative hero. No guts, no glory GOPe.....

Exactly. Death row inmates get more consideration.

Ditto. Jeb let Terri die a horrible, torturous death, and I wouldn’t let him pick up my trash, let alone be president.
