This will get worse thanks to Robert Gates. It shows the incompetency of the Boy Scouts of America leadership. I do not have great hopes for this American institution.
Why not put hetrosexual men in charge of teen-aged girl scout troops?
If your child is being molested someone wasn't doing their job correctly and instead of bonding with, and teaching your son within the Scouting program, you abandoned him and used it as a babysitting service.

I don’t agree with the new policy, but at the same time, having a ban on gay leaders hasn’t stopped this from happening.
I’m not ok with this policy, I think it’s going to add to these problems, but I do get annoyed with people acting like this stuff didn’t happen before this new policy.

Any sane person should have seen this coming. It was happening before the BSA welcomed openly practicing homos into leadership positions. They were just better at keeping it a secret.
Wonder if they hand out “Diversity” merit badges.
If I were going to have a “scout” program to prepare kids for the future, first merit badge would be how to walk in the jungle, because if the jungle isn’t at your door, it’s coming.
A few year back I gave some informational material on homosexual teaching in the schools to a couple of mothers who have children in school. They didn’t act with shock as I expected but one of the mothers said that families come in different kinds. Dummies. What happened to the mothering instinct?
