Hi!
Thought Trump stunk! Wouldn’t answer any direct questions or support his own opinions.
Ann Coulter at a debate would be entertaining...that would be a pay per view debate..with Mark and Rush...
Press Release from U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions
The overwhelming majority of immigration to the United States is
because they are all invited here by the federal government.
Rush: Not one of the other moderators (beside Megyn) tried to take Trump out”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That was by design.
Except, wasn’t it Wallace who fired the first missile at Trump?
with the pledge question.
One poster commented that Trump should have said that the only pledge I’ll take is the Pledge of Allegiance.
On the misogyny question he could have said, I say those things about men too.
He wasn’t prepared. Winged it. At some point he will have to buckle down and and form well-reasoned positions on the issues. Hopefully, last night was a wake-up call.
On the other hand, one poster reminded us of the questions he was asked:
Do you promise not to run as an Independent (after we take you out)?
Why do you hate woman so much?
Tell us more about your 4 bankruptcies?
Why are you a conspiracy theorist about Mexico?
Why do you call Republicans clowns and puppets?
When did you decide to become a Republican?
Explain your flip-flop on abortion.
Do you still support a single-payer health-care system?
Hard to prepare for most of those questions.
Give him a break! They rattled him right out of the gate, his first debate, nervous because of expectations and STUPID QUESTIONS. I thought he did great for the first time. Think of other politicians who froze the first debate (remember W and Gore).
It was like Bret & Jerks were trying to make themselves look like they can be George Snuffelupagus.
Every question was a “gotcha” question.
Trump couldn’t/wouldn’t support his “Mexico is sending rapists and drug dealers across the border” statements.
No matter how true it is he previously said he would give proof later on...and he doesn’t at the debate?
That’s deliberately being unprepared or just plain arrogance. He stunk it up.
Testing,1,2,3.
Have a good and blessed day and weekend Everyone!
I agree. I don't think he's temperamentally suited to be president, and I wish he'd drop out.
I don’t know Clint pretty much everyone I know said Trump won the debate with Cruz at a far off Second.
I hope the three moderators are embarrassed and apologetic today. I don’t expect judgment or self-restraint from liberals, but I do from conservatives.
The analysis notes Fox moderators Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier spoke for 31 minutes and 53 seconds of the roughly two-hour broadcast, or 31.7% of the time.
Never going to happen. They are getting too many kudos from their fellow journalists and talking heads.
What I expect them so say is that many conservatives were unhappy with them.
It’s the conservatives’ problem. That proves we [the moderators] were “fair and balanced.”
This means that the moderators targeted Trump more, not that Trump dominated the time. In fact, the other candidates had to talk through the bell just to get the time percentages that they got.
Here’s an early, brief post-debate analysis and candidate ranking by Timothy Carney of the Washington Examiner:
That's disappointing.
