When a candidate has a liberal record and you support that candidate, guess what? You are supporting a liberal. Facts are stubborn things.

You did it with Romney and you are doing it again.

I believe Palin’s support for Trump is based on the way the GOP establishment has treated her. She sees many parallels and is empathetic to that.

She may be angling for a cabinet position in a Trump administration, or just returning the favor to the GOP establishment. Hard to know at this point.

Yeah, he’s Mr. I know everything .. who doesn’t know anything. His treatment of Palin was appalling.

I get the feeling Joe Six-pack is already on the Trump wagon.

I was thinking the same thing. It's the outer edges of the left and right that it needs to be sold to.

GOPe voters already have their minds made up at least in the primary.

Democrats almost always vote democrat.

People are enamored with Trump. You’re not going to change that. I’m not sure what your objective is.

Same as it ever was. Promote conservatism over liberalism/lesser evil idiocy. Thats sort of the reason FR exists.

I believe Palin’s support for Trump is based on the way the GOP establishment has treated her.

Good point. Perhaps the same with the Tea Party folks. Their disliking to the GOPe is at least as strong as their disliking of BIG Government and rightfully so.

What has the GOP leadership done for us after handing them a victory and control of both houses?

Like Cruz says: The GOP said just give us control of the House and we can move forward. We gave them control of the House and it was no different than when Pelosi was in control.

Then they said, give us the Senate along with the House and we will work wonders.

We gave them the Senate along with the House and it's no different then when Harry Reid was in control.

Now they say, give us the White House along with the Senate and House and miracles will happen!

I say, perform those wonders now, make those miracles happen now, defund Obamacare now, defund Planned parenthood now, reverse all those illegal exec orders now, reverse all that Obama has done now or I will not vote republican unless it's Ted Cruz or Ben Carson or Donald Trump (maybe Walker).

I will NOT again hold my nose and vote for a RINO. I will happily vote for Trump over Bush...etc if Trum runs third party.

Trump’s message is tailor made for the redneck, but rednecks don’t relate all that well to billionaire real estate magnates, even ones that wear “Make America Great Again” baseball caps. That’s where Sarah Palin comes in.

Trump is a liberal, not a conservative. End of story. I don’t vote for liberals. Boner & McConnell might as well be islamic terrorist communists, because now that both control the House & Senate, Obama gets 100% of everything he wants.

Yup. Of course by liberal logic that means we hate America and love Obama.

Good thing they discovered new Lithium deposits. Many people should be on it with logic like that.

Sarah would certainly be an assist, but she won’t have to convince Joe Six Pack of anything, she will just affirm what they already think.

I disagree. I'm a member of a number of Sarah Palin groups and what she has to say has lots of sway with many people. They(we) trust her and her political instincts. If Palin stamps her approval on Trump, he benefits greatly.

One thing both Trump and Palin have in common is that they are rebels. They don't adhere to conventional thinking. Thinking out of the box is what we need in our next president. Screwing over the political establishment is part of that out of the box thinking.
