Securing a countries borders and restricting immigration to only those you desire is a very basic responsibilities of any government. That you would have to attack such a basic concept shows how shallow your premise is.

Liberty is something that a government guarantees to it's citizens, in no small part, by protecting it's borders and controlling immigration. Suggesting that limiting immigration somehow limits liberty is a silly argument based on emotional appeal to cover it's complete lack of a logical basis.

But you are advocating an immigration moratorium. Has the USA ever had an immigration moratorium? That is why your views aren’t conservative - you are advocating something that the country wasn’t founded on and never really attempted.
