WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton pledged Thursday to reform the nation’s criminal-justice system if elected, saying it’s “clear as could be” that it favors white suspects.

Speaking on the Rev. Al Sharpton’s radio show, Clinton pointed to the “tragic set of facts” that show too many Americans are behind bars and they are disproportionately black men.

Hillary Clinton is saying that there should be more women in prison? Why is this a race issue and not a gender issue? /Part-sarcasm.

All kidding aside, your post actually makes a great point. There are far more men incarcerated than women, even though women outnumber men in this country. Perhaps there needs to be a national discussion on the court system’s “War on men”.
