I don’t know about Matthews being speechless (that’s a bit of a stretch), but she didn’t hide and she answered the questions. Good for her.
He was so stunned by the attack, he refused to drink a pint of Guinness this morning on Morning Joe.

But really... how many everyday Americans have also asked those same questions over and over. Those were common sense answers that almost any American (ok, any normal American) would have given but when a politician does it it’s considered earth shattering. I’m not trying to dis her it’s just that we’ve come sooooo far from the path of common sense in this country that common sense now has “shock value,” sad. She’s fast on her feet and stuck it to little Chrissy. That always makes for a good day in America.
Did she challenge him to a duel?
Carly, Trump, and Carson are successful private enterprise titans that have achieved results in the real world. Politicians are prized for their ability to shift blame or take credit. No need for profit, just raise the taxes or pass the debt to the next generation.
I hope their showing will encourage more private enterprise veterans to enter the political arena.

I have yet to hear another politician speak as (extemporaneously) well as does Carly. She is intelligent and can be acerbic without coming across as condescending (Donald!), and she has a firm grasp of the issues.
Notice how she handled Matthews. I can’t remember the last time a pubbie man-handled him in such a fashion.
Methinks she should be in the top tier. She would tear the opposition to bits...
I do not give a damn about Chris Matthews. What I do know is that when he is on his knees in front of Obama his dream in life is coming true.
Matthews: “Thank you Carly Fiorina, I see why you stood out in the debate tonight.” (”Because you have bigger balls than I do...”)
I waffle on Carly.
She’s saying all the right things and hammering Hillary ceaselessly.
But.
The Clintons often use a “whipping person” to out their truths and get rid of them at the same time. Carly days all this Hillary truth, but it all evaporates. Makes me go hmmm.
Yes, yes, the media works overtime to evaporate it, I know. Maybe I’m so jaded I wouldn’t believe any politician who declared water wet anymore.
Sadly, yes (for now anyway).
