Eccentric tech millionaire John McAfee has been arrested in Tennessee after being caught driving under the influence and for illegal gun possession, police say.

McAfee, who created the virus-scanning software by the same name, was found driving erratically along a road in Henderson County on Sunday night and was arrested, police said.

That means tha all of us who just got new machines, and paid the fee for the mcafee product, are now guilty of aiding and abetting an adult delinquent!

Now he’s back in the USA? Never knew that.

Entirely irrelevant. He hasn't had anything to do with the product or company since 1994.

McAffee AV is crap. [...]

A perfectly true statement.

[...] Microsoft’s freebie is better.

Well, I will agree, but only because your statement sets the bar so very low : )

I’m wondering too, whatever happened with that case? Somewhere in South America wasn’t it? In certain countries, enough bribery can make anything go away.

I guess I lead a sheltered life. Had to look this up. It says, at http://www.drugs.com/xanax.html :

Xanax is used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and anxiety caused by depression. Doesn’t sound like the sort of drug that one would deliberately take to get high.

No doubt, this fellow has severe anxiety issues.
