Any number doesn’t mean anything unless you know a breakdown of the circumstances behind the numbers. Of more interest to law-abiding folks re how many shot by accident, how many shot defending house against perceived home invasion, how many shot for minor incident, how many shot under color of law situation....

320 million citizens (actually 280 million citizens, 40 million illegals) and 1,000 interact with cops in such a ways as to invite their own deaths. Don’t tell me these are unjustified killings.

More accurately, "Police have killed at least 1,083 people, mostly criminals who badly needed killing, but who also happened to have been Americans."

See, it doesn't sound so bad when you state the situation more accurately.

Let's make it more accurate still.

A 300 lb monster hopped up on drugs and inclined to violence having just committed a felony, and who punched the officer in the face and tried to take his gun.

Michael Brown is one of those "Americans" that very badly needed killing.

I am calling BS on that number. Reality is probably closer to half that number.

With 708 so far this year we are trending toward about 940 for the year.
