The poor driver is going to get his Gluteus Maximus in a bind for this mistake.

I hope the driver is OK — I’ve heard mixed reports: he took one lump, or maybe two.

It's a sharp curve.

When I was a kid in the 50's, the Turnpike extension was a big new thing. My dad used to take us for rides on it when it opened. My sister and I would sit on the armrests of the back seat, for fun. There was a "half a house" along the way there somewhere, presumably an artifact of eminent domain.

Ah, memories.

The result: the world’s largest Glue-Tea-us Maximus.

The toon is funny.

We had a rig wreck in Charlotte about 25 years ago. Guy was hauling frozen chicken.
Needless to say it doesn’t stay frozen long on the Interstate surface in summertime Charlotte.
When they finally got the equipment there to get this mess off the road, hundreds if not thousands of cats had shown up to partake in the windfall.
Highway Dept. got into huge trouble for scooping up the cats, with the chicken, and loading all into dump trucks.
Whole thing ended up being a massive goat rope.

Reminds me of that terrible accident when a German truck shed its load on one of their autobahns ...

Misleading article at best. Was the truck carry a big tank of glue and tea or package of each for delivery to retail outlets.

Our local media made a big deal out of a truck accident on th Maine Turnpike of a truck carrying 48,000 pounds of Poland Spring Water. Listing it in pounds made no sense until they provided a picture of bottle water on pallets.

For reference, Poland Spring Water get shipped around in tank trucks to get it from springs to the bottling plants.
