In the liberal universe, there's no correlation between hard work or ingenuity and financial success. As President Obama recently put it, the rich are simply "society's lottery winners."
Sounding a similar theme, Al Sharpton today declared it "astounding" that Rand Paul believes that income inequality is due to "some people working harder." Astounding, indeed! What's wrong with Rand? How could he possibly believe that someone someone who works, say, 60 hours per week might earn more than someone else who works 20?
Come to think of it, I think Al probably made a lot more money this year than I did, and I worked 18 hours this past Saturday and Sunday, and am pulling another all-nighter tonite.
Pretty much everyone Sharpton knows - a bunch of politicians and MSM people - make vast amounts of money for doing no visible work at all beyond flapping their gums.

You’ve got to remember, Sharpton sees the correlation of work vs. pay through his own life experience. Of course he is not going to believe that more work equals higher pay.

What many fail to acknowledge is the essential role of advance personal preparation for careers and ongoing personal knowledge and skill development.
Sadly, a society that increasingly ignores personal responsibility and effective family/parental role modeling, guidance, and teaching is a society in which much of an entire generation is now just not prepared to produce service of meaningful economic contribution. Think Baltimore, Ferguson, south Los Angeles, and other socialist social experimentation centers.
The fruits of Liberalism include poverty, conflict, despair, sadness, anger, blame, dependence, hate and wasted human potential.
Maybe he will be like a collapsing black hole and take all the black caucasians with him and Barry.
Work is a foreign concept for Al and most RATS.
How could anybody stand that close to Al without being physically ill?
