some democrats in 2008 said ... Barrack Hussein Obama is a phenomenon” ... and will NEVER be elected ... especially with a name like that ..

Trump is the GOP’s 2016 version of Obama, insofar as “political calculus” goes ...

that is reality

Great urban cesspool and third world country? Maybe this writer needs to get out more. I’ll be at the Met and the Morgan Museum today and will update you on it’s cesspool like conditions. Or not.

Oh, relax. Not all nationalist movements are Hitler and Castro, although it may take someone of their strength to rid this country of the hoards of illegal vermin that have compromised the viability of this once great nation.

Do I see railroad cars filled with persons of color headed for the southern border? No. But, if Trump is willing to imprison employers who hire illegals, and cut off public benefits to them, and I think he is, he will get my vote.

Once that goes online, the intruders will deport themselves.

You may have great institutions there, but the government of NYC has recently announced that defecating in public is basically going to be ignored. The place is filled with lunatics, and the streets are starting to look like a Third World sh!t-hole once again.

And Newt stands head and shoulders above Trump.

Really,cc?

And just what has Newt accomplished since 1995 and the government shutdown?

And what has Trump accomplished in the last twenty years?

I was on the Newt train three years ago, and it went nowhere. If you can't get elected, it does not matter how conservative you are.

Newt was abandoned by the GOP in spite of his superior intellect in the GOP and his past status as Speaker.

While Newt may be a political genius, it did nothing for him in the real world.

At least Trump is risking real money and business dealings to run, and he can't be bought. No one else can say that.

I'll take half a loaf than no loaf anyday of the week. Freepers lost in 2008 and in 2012. We only have one more shot, then it's curtains on America. I'll gladly vote for someone who has shown the love of country that Trump has, and who is unafraid to speak out, even to special interest groups like BLM, which other candidates would have considered political suicide, even Bernie Sanders who is a leftist.

You can be right and be alone in the corner--makes no difference. Whether Cruz, whom I adore, can win in the general remains to be seen, but of the other 16, only Trump can bring in Dems and Indies to win the White House and shake up the DC Cartel.

Proof of that was 24 million people tuned into a primary political debate last Thursday--which is TEN TIMES the highest numbers for that time slot on Fox on a usual day.

Those 24 million were not all conservatives.

The author also thinks we’re “hot-blooded”. Sort of like we’re a bunch of Ricky Ricardos having Hispanic meltdowns and screaming gibberish while Lucy stands by patiently. I mean, how many clichés can you get in one article? Third world cesspool? I don’t think so. And what’s purple chamber, anybody?

I’m not impressed.

You can thank yourself for the impending election of Bernie Sanders or Jeb Bush.

He was born to the Purple Chamber,

No one can call Fred Trump, Trump's father, a member of the so called Purple Chamber.

Fred Trump was not of NYC's "elite".

Fred Trump made his fortune honestly and had a sterling reputation with his customers, suppliers, and contractors.

And it seems Fred gave those values to Trump, who multiplied the family fortune with the same values.

Another fine hit piece you found there, CW.

But, no sale.

Trump/Cruz 2016

“I don’t see a Mike Huckabee supporter, for example, to support Donald Trump when Huckabee ends up dropping out of the race. “
I too expect a conservative to rise as the number of their candidacies are reduced (and Trump keeps Bush from ‘leading the pack’).

But if Trump won the primary would a Huck supporter vote for him to stop Hillary- or stay home?
That’s the scenario the GOP has given us in, lo, these many elections. They do have some success with it though it hasn’t won for them since Bush.

No, you can thank yourself for that.

Jeb is the GOP-E designated loser to Hillary. The Bushes and Clintons go back 30 years to Arkansas.

Bernie Sanders has no chance, and if Hillary survives Emailgate and Benghazi, she will win the general against the hapless Bush.

If she doesn’t survive, then Biden/Warren is in the wings to take over. Make no mistake about it, they intend to continue and increase the policies of Obama.

Trump is the only one who can chart a different future for America.

Cruz is hated by the GOP-they will NEVER let him get the nod.

However, if Trump is the candidate, he just might take Cruz under his wing. There already is some kind of mutual respect going on there that I hope relly develops.

Trump/Cruz 2016 will be the Dems worst nightmare.

And that will be a ticket for the GOP. And if the GOP does not agree, it will be third party.

Because any of the others will:

A)Not get elected in the general,

B) and if by some wild chance they do, won’t change a darn thing for the DC Cartel.

And what does Trump have to do with leftwing loons running City Hall? Manhattan is booming, Brooklyn is booming, Queens is developing into a hot spot (something I never expected to see) and all we need is for somebody to take over the great Grand Concourse. It’s a great city that currently has an awful mayor. This article is a no-nothing piece of trash.

I’m still wondering what the hell a Purple Chamber is. I’m assuming it has something to do with poor old Fred Trump, a Queens developer - not exactly Robert Moses, either. His son, for better or worse, is much closer to Moses.

There are so many dimensions to this current election year.

Trump is the ‘free’ agent, not beholden to the club of billionaires. Now why is there not a bottom-up inspection of the billionaires, that hold their private cattle calls to see which candidate they can buy and sell?

Trump is the face of politics, and sure has the many on both sides of the supposed political aisle squirming.

How dare Trump mess with their politics...

Who knew Fred Trump was New York Elite on the par with the Rockefellers! We all knew him as an old bald man who built buildings in Queens.

Whatever. I’m not interested in loud obnoxious people and am not dumb enough to vote for the most liberal one to come along in ages.

All I know is that conservatives are never going to win until they adopt an ideology that isn’t totally dependent on their chosen candidate of the moment.

Very well put!

I could care less if Trump is loud and obnoxious.

He has a successful track record in his field, and has actually employed people, and run a business, on a national level.

You have the DC Cartel who are looting you blind, and a bunch of candidates put up and supported by the GOP-E and the Chamber of Commerce who’s sole purpose is to divide your conservative vote, so Jebra Bush can run up the middle, get the nod, and bow down to Hillary.

Not playing in that game.

You used the word “period”.

You misogynist.

Only kidding, cc.

We’ll agree to disagree. Nothing personal.
