FOX News host Megyn Kelly announced tonight at the end of her show that she will be going on a much needed vacation for the next week-and-a-half.
Kinda feel sorry for her. She could have been a star for fair and balanced reporting but chose the dark side. You get what you deserve for that hack job. Her reporting for the last month or so has leaned very liberal. Using reality TV and blogs for that first question was stupid. And Fox is equally guilty.
Possibly, but I really think Fox is just trying to tamp down the reaction to her performance.

She was wrong to do what she did. People are sick of these gotcha questions, they are NOT “good journalism”.
Kelly is like Obama. She will never change. She has a chip on her shoulder.
Would not be surprised if she announced she is going to another network.

It really was an amazing thing to watch. She simultaneously damaged FNC’s credibility while her career imploded. Its not easy destroying two things at once. It was quite a night for Fox. And now it is dealing with the messy aftermath now and is in full damage control mode. Fox should have seen this coming. She telegraphed it for a week.
Exactly. It’s August. She’s got a husband and three little kids.

What did Ailes say Monday before her show? “I again expressed my confidence in Megyn Kelly. She is a brilliant journalist and I support her 100 percent.”
Kelly’s Monday little segment “won’t apologize for doing good journalism” was her little rebellion against Roger Ailes’s wishes of blowing it over as quickly as possible.
Apparently the revenue share dropping and criticism is more important than their definition of ‘good journalism and brilliant journalist’.
A lesson for the ‘brilliant’ journalist, don’t make news about yourself, too full of your own importance and any brilliant journalist can be easily replaced.
She KNEW better. All three of the moderators knew better, frankly. They had the opportunity to showcase the strengths of each of the 10 candidates in how they comport to the platform of the party (or even the embattled conservatives of the party) they represent in this contest to come, and they chose cheesy tabloid sensationalism designed to create ratings for Fox and, more importantly, enhance their own personal ‘numbers’.
To any rational, thinking person concerned about this country, that debate by Fox was an abject disgrace, and Megyn Kelly is the symbol of it. Fie on you, Fox.
Interesting, Trump was on Hanity last night and said that he talked with Roger and everything was good. I thought What changed? I guess this was the deal that Candy Kelly would be taking a mandatory vacation for 10 days.
She looks stressed. No question about it. Maybe Fox is afraid she might step in it again and make things even worse than they already are for her and the network. Fox cannot afford another debacle. Time for her to take a leave of absence.
Go ahead and take 2 full weeks....then quit!

MeGynocology: “But Roger, there’s a debate soon!”
Roger Ailes: “Here’s your complimentary tickets to Hawaii. Have fun.”
In her announcement she seemed to emphasize that she hasn’t had a vacation in six months. That raised a red flag with me - it made me suspect she was going out of her way to have people believe it was a long overdue vacation and she wasn’t taking time off because of the recent “dust up”. She also told her phone that she wasn’t going to be talking to it.
Not happening. This chick is toast with conservatives. I think she is just as stupid as the other Martha’s vineyard types and didn’t know who her audience base was. She will be ineffective covering any news story about Trump since she was part of the beginning of his campaign and since all stories are about Trump that presents her with the dilemma of always being the story because right off the bat she tried to take him out. It’s like those black women, Lynette and Rochelle said in the latest video they will be looking at her with the “side eye.”
Rush says you gotta dance with whoever brought. Same thing happened with Oprah Winfrey. Her base appeared to be conservative white women and when she finally endorsed a candidate, it was Hussein and the base dropped her like a bad case of fleas. Never saw her show myself. Gay nuns on dope and Johnny slept with mommy stories never interested me.
This is likely how much of it went down.
It is my understanding that she is going to Sesame Street co-anchoring with Miss Piggy and Kermit the frog. At least that is what my sources says:
