It’s like following a gnat.

Not if you’re from NY. :)

“Keep in mind that rich people put their money where their mouth is.”

We like Donald Trump because we’re sick and tired of a bunch of Communist/Marxists putting OUR money where THEIR mouth is.
Working people need a break from paying out the nose to support Democrat voters. If there’s one thing Donald Trump respects it’s the working class, “working” being the operative word, whether they’re rich or poor.

His “donations” to America in the form of jobs and economic improvement from his many business ventures will far and away exceed anything that any candidate from either party can claim. I’d be interested to see you come up with some figures in that area from your candidate of choice.

“Wow, 157 posts, all through last night until almost 7 am this morning, before the first hate-filled mindless anti-Trump post shows up.”

What ever happened to being able to express an opinion without having personal attacks leveled at you? I really don’t mind someone disagreeing with me. I love a good debate! But the art of civil discourse seems to be dead, not only here on FR sometimes but in society in general.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. You seem to have responded to the wrong poster/post. Here is the post to which you responded:

“Blind followers” — that was funny. Almost all have been very cautious, until lately when the cabal of anti-Trump posters began excreting the same buzzwords, hero, hero worship, Trump insulted a Christian conservative woman, just another family vacation — ho-hum, the overt sexual references for anyone who has expressed support for Trump...

IMO, the FReak haters are unifying and shoring up support for Trump!

Just agreeing with you and expanding on your post. Sorry. I guess I didn’t make that clear.

In 2012, according to a report by the Pew Charitable Trusts, state governments spent $9 billion less than they did the previous year — the first such decline in 50 years. Many of these cuts have fallen on education. In Pennsylvania, for example, Gov. Tom Corbett cut funding for the state’s public universities by 20 percent, a compromise from his original proposal of 50 percent. Last month in Wisconsin, Gov. Scott Walker, backed by Republican majorities in the state House and Senate, cut $250 million from the University of Wisconsin system.

More here on Brownback’s radical remake of Kansas government and taxes: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/09/magazine/the-kansas-experiment.html?_r=0

The NYT puts the most negative spin on it they can. The one thing they didn’t do is vouchers. That would have relieved the price pressure on school costs. Had they moved to a free market in schooling they’d have set the standard nationwide. The one thing we cannot do is fiddle around with this stuff.

If you’re going to break the grip of government and make no doubt that government is the third and dominant party of America, they’ll just muck it up intentionally.
