As I said. Enough talent to make it in college ball, not in professional.
That is not zero talent. Just not enough talent.

San Francisco would be a good place for Sam to cheerlead.

Agree totally. It's like a baseball AAA player that absolutely kills at that level.
But he stands in against a Major League pitcher and gets his ass handed to him.
The whole Michael Sam cover of Sports Illustrated/ ESPN hype was SO over the top ridiculous.
Just think of how many outstanding college football players NEVER even got as far as Sam did.
It was all about the "gay".
Talent had nothing to do with it.
O/T, but there is a very famous former pro QB who has a couple of SB rings, yet will not come out of the closet publicly.
Why?
He actually doesn't *want* the publicity.
Now that's a rare thing these days.

This guys mental illness was evidenced in his sexual deviance.<./I>Yup..... never met a homo who wasn't also a mental train wreck. It goes with the territory.

That’s my thought as well.
Lots of good players in college can’t make it in the pros.

Yes, homosexuality is a mental illness. So by definition, he’s mentally ill.

Yup..... never met a homo who wasn't also a mental train wreck. It goes with the territory. I've met a few well-adjusted queers.
They don't march in parades. They don't boycott. They don't bitch about Boy Scouts or gay marriage. They keep to themselves, keep their yards nice. They'll feed your cats when you're on vacation. They're out there. Always have been. I don't mind them. Might be your neighbor. They tend to be good cooks and throw great parties.

I've met a few well-adjusted queers.I can't say that has happened to me and the word that immediately comes to mind is 'instability'. And take a look at a couple of articles down for an example of it... Rosie ODonnell: Id Like to Take My Period Blood and Smear It All Over [Pro-Life Peoples] Faces. Yup... unstable.
