Clearly the Left FEARS a Trump Cruz presidency ... as you'll read in the dribble below ...
Anyway, theres no need to belabor the details of how the next four years unfolded: the budget crisis, President Trumps impeachment, Vice President Cruzs inauguration, the second budget crisis.
Its all pretty straightforward. It was a painful and frightening time, to be sure.
And while it didnt bring about the collapse of society, it did hurt us. Our economy suffered, as did our standing in the world. (Relations with Mexico remain tense.)
One bright spot: We elected a man who loves to name things after himself, but all we named after him is the Trump Recession.
Hell be remembered for that forever. The irony was almost worth the price.

The thing is, I had the feeling of impending disaster on election night 2008.
Most Americans realize that Trump, if elected, couldn’t possibly be as bad as the current administration.

Some had just wanted to register a protest, not realizing that they would be swinging the election to an insecure, undisciplined narcissist unfit for public office.
I thought he was writing about the future, yet here he seems to be referencing Obama.

generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth- Obama's nomination speech.
After participating in writing crap like this his view of journalism is to attribute fictional words and deeds to others.

“Obviously, everyone knew, he could never actually get anywhere once the votes were cast. American democracy was too robust to let that happen. He was too dangerous to win, and to win would be too dangerous. It couldnt happen because it couldnt happen.”
So everyone knew he’d never be elected because he was too dangerous?
Much said there. It says right there what a bubble these jerkwads live in. Taken literally, if everyone knew he was too dangerous, then he never would have been elected.
Rush is right, the left is a minority and they’ve successfully led all of us to think we are the minority, the crazies, the stupid, etc. I also think Rush is right when he says outfits like CNN are not broadcasting to America, they are broadcasting to their own kind - the other MSM, Hollywood, academia and lefties in general - which is their bubble and this elite controlling bubble is a minority.
Now that the country is in a rage they just don’t know how to handle it.

Theres no need to rehash how it all went down. He won the nomination, and then he won the general election. It wasnt more complicated than that. Some have compared the tenor of the news on election night to the coverage of a tragedy or disaster. But thats not exactly right. It wasnt like a meteor strike. It was more like finding out a meteor is heading our way. The anchors were dazed and somber. There was a real effort on the part of journalists to assuage viewers. Twitter was a **** show, but Twitter is always a **** show. Many immediately expressed their regret for voting Trump. Some had just wanted to register a protest, not realizing that they would be swinging the election to an insecure, undisciplined narcissist unfit for public office.
That was a nice summary of how things happened with Obama froma aformer Obama speech writer. Only one word (Trump) had to be changed.

Hey there, Jon Boy,
Hallucinate much?
You weren’t doing too badly until you had Obola passing legislation giving Congress more power.
You know him. You were an employee and sychophant of his. Surely you know that the only thing he’ll be doing between Trump’s election and inauguration will be pardoning criminals (for which the checque’s in the mail) and conniving to have a gilded statue if himself erected on White House grounds....while he runs Air Force One to the point of needing to be totaled, joy riding around the globe.
It’s good we have new ones on order. This is what happens when you give a community organizer an unlimited credit card and the keys to a custom built Boeing 747. All the stereotypes of centuries find their fulfillment in that one individual. IMHO.

It must be the dead Democrats that "rise up to vote" out of the graveyards that are giving them this "message from the other side".
As long as we're consulting Gypsy Rose Lee for election news, I have a little Random Rune Stones Generator app on my smartphone that always give interesting prognostications, let's see what the stones say. ;)
AllFather, what do the stones have to say about Trump as a president?
HAGALAZ: struggle, change and potential not without accompanying damage, the entry of a strong force of nature that brings renewal but renewal is not painless.
TEIWAZ: The warrior rune and sign of the war god. Accomplishment and success by force of will in all areas, as well as spiritual mandate and success on the battlefield.
SOWILO: The sun rune. Illumination and guidance seeking a life-giving or healing goal, guidance until the sun rises and healing is achieved. Hope and faith in a dark time.
(Just me but I think my app is smarter than the guy who wrote the article)

Except the opposite. The media was elated. The right did not protest.
The only part of the paragraph that matches 2008 is the mass of unwashed, clueless viewers. Whether those viewers vote for Obama or for Trump, they are just as dumb. The difference is merely accdental, that Trump will fix the economy while Obama is trying to destroy it.
