Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump debated the use of the term “anchor baby” with a reporter at a press conference in New Hampshire on Wednesday.

Trump was asked, “You said that you have a big heart, and that you’re not mean-spirited. Are you aware that the term ‘anchor baby,’ that’s an offensive term? People find that hurtful.”

Anchor babies and wetbacks are mean-spirited to American culture and law. Trump better not go PC over being called ‘mean-spirited’.

He too stupid and arrogant to know that he got slapped. I bet he just sat there, open mouthed, trying to think of something to say but realized he was not ready for prime time. And just went back to his liberal office, with his liberal friends and threw a liberal temper tantrum.

Like many other terms the left hates, it’s effectively descriptive. So of course they want to eliminate its use and replace it with their own, like ‘Dreamer”.

Great clip, IF you wade through the Breitbart denial of service attack of ads. That site really sucks and is filled with so much crap it wasn’t worth it.

Yes, he knows he was smacked down. Trump mocked him and went on to the next. And nothing inflammatory was even said.

He went with the common 4 syllable term, instead of the politically correct 16 syllable one. That’s inflammatory?

No, of course it’s not inflammatory, in the real world. But, in the liberal reporter’s head? Sure. To them. “Anchor baby” is no better than n****r.

Who exactly thinks anchor baby is offensive? Who? Who?
Terrorist invaders from the south. Not Americans, not people here legally. Only unarrested criminals

One of my pet peeves is dealing with someone with a below average IQ who clearly -- CLEARLY -- thinks they are the smartest person in the room at all times. I think many (most) journalists fall into this category.

It's a lot like the rich kids who thought having a bigger amp made them a decent guitar player because louder equaled better.

Most outgrew that phase by about tenth grade, at least as I recall things.

Of course we can't expect that from the pseudo-intellectuals that populate the MSM.

I know I’ve probably told you this before, but Firefox with Ad Block Plus and Ghostery add-ons eliminates all that.

That's how it's done. When someone tries to say "thug is racist" (for example) we ask them what term should be used, they tell us, then we answer "I'll say thug".

Trump is teaching us as a nation to not be cowered by the thought police.

A diabolical aspect of PC speech is the attempt to so misusie the language that one inverts what is being said to the exact opposite. It’s Orwell’s Newspeak.

How can anyone not support this man. His love of this nation and it’s people is so obvious. He was right on about money, too. The rest will betray us for campaign cash and freebies. They are owned, their votes bought and paid for.

This is our last chance to get it right. Vote Trump or we are done as a nation and as a people.

Trump has my vote too.I'll never vote for a career politician( one who wants to advance his career as a politician). Politicians are all owned by rich donors.

Politicians have destroyed the USA

“People find that hurtful.”

So do Americans who are the victims of the illegal alien crime wave.

“‘anchor baby,’ that’s an offensive term? People find that hurtful.””

Liberals and PeeCee’rs can probably find 20% of the words in the dictionary to be “offensive and hurtful” when they believe it’s to their advantage. The primary reasons for the PeeCee crap is to change the subject when losing an argument and to try to put someone on the defensive. The reason the term “anchor baby” is found to be politically incorrect and “offensive and hurtful” is because it is brief, concise and accurate.

And of course, this is the subtle, nefarious way that politically correct speech works. First they get you to change your language and accept that the term you were using was hateful. Once you have accepted that lie, then they convince you that the whole concept you were referring to was hateful (i.e. The term ‘Anchor Baby’ is hateful turns into ‘Being against anchor babies is hateful). Trump understands that you need to stop it at the border before it’s allowed to do its insidious damage to common sense. It’s refreshing to see.

Yes. He’s helping me figure this out. For example, a local reporter asks me whether I am willing to give my opinion regarding “gay” marriage. If I ask, do you mean “homosexual?” they are almost certain to say, “no, it’s referred to as “gay.” “’Homosexual’ is considered an insensitive word that offends people.”

Trump teaches me that my response should be, “I will use homosexual. If you are not willing to use that word, the conversation is at an end.” Their head explodes.

Simple, easy, effective. But it must be practiced and used.
