The blacklivesmatters movement seems to jump to erroneous conclusions far too often. There are some major problems with some of the police departments in this country but this sounds like the police were doing their job. Pointing your gun at cops? I hate that someone died but it sounds like he needed a killin’. That said, by rioting and protesting these proper uses of force by police (it started with mike brown) the BLM movement has done nothing but help to discredit the citizens with real complaints against the police. It’s becoming a travesty and if this country had a real leader instead of an antagonist we would be in a much better place.
Last week I met a detective from a larger city. He shared with me that many cops are happy to get body cams because they feel like they will be exonerated at a faster rate and those who are bad apples will get purged even faster.
