So maybe there would have been a different outcome if these guys were on the DC Metro on the Fourth of July when the guy got stabbed to death while everyone just watched....
God intervenes when he chooses for reasons we are not privy to..
Perhaps he wanted to make certain we all knew that islam was and remains???
It appears that these young men are not US Marines, one is an airman and one is a member of the National Guard, there are photos of them and they have been identified.
I am not sure why the original reports claimed they were Marines.
Whatever unit they belonged to they are a credit to themselves and their nation.

The three “marines” turned out to a one active duty Air Force, and an Army National Guardsman. The other American was a student going to school in Paris.

Enough cymbal clashing already! They were 2 “American Service men” Both fighting under the same FLAG. Considering the circumstance, they did what they had to do, as in “Lets Roll” like the 911 flight over PA. One of Americans was not in the military, and the original reports listed the two, Air Force airman Spencer Stone, who ran at the gunman when he opened fire on the high speed service to Paris. He was on the train with friend, Oregon National Guard member Alek Skarlatos, 22, who was traveling through Europe.
With the help of Anthony Sadler, from California, and British national Chris Norman, they stopped the attack. They already had pictures of the two in their respective military uniforms.
I guess they had to do what they did, only because they didn’t have enough time to call for the Marines?

The article I linked to (The Telegraph) had incorrectly said they were Marines.
