The real utility of this is to allow women to reach higher levels of management in the military, where they will likely command men more qualified than they are.
There are far too many who believe what they see from Hollywood is the real world...GI Jane, and a 120 lb. beauty who can whip 10 armed men with her bare hands.
The long term ramifications of this are disturbing. But I don't see the process being reversed by anyone, military or civilian, until broken rules long written in blood result in a degraded force that will be unmasked in a crisis.
Greist...
Crossfit champion girls, sure... but both seem to be about five foot five...
^^^^ Can those two girls carry those two guys off of a battlefield? ^^^^

Yes, that is always what it has been about.
Interesting - a USMA graduate being romanced by an Aggie...dogs and cats living together, a sure sign of the end times...:-)
I wouldn't set much store by that name as it appears to be a nom de plume drawn from a character in W.E.B. Griffin's Brotherhood of War series of novels. As a fan of that series, I guess I'd give the guy some credit for even knowing about or having read the series.
No sane society would place its uteruses on the front line. It’s stupid, even if they did ‘earn it’.
Why are standards plummeting in the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program?
Lower standards are caused by PC. Just in time for the drive to place women in combat.
Amen
The training has educated those whose desires violate the norms and standards, may exercise strong will and endure to prevail over norms and standards without regard to justice or righteousness.
It is the same reward given to homosexuals by this Administration.
It fails to discern the criminal from the righteous and gives more authority to criminal intent.

I knew I should have put the ‘/s’ on the end of that post.
I meant it in the sense of “you asked for it, you get it.”
I still don’t think that very many women really want combat duty; they just want the box checked on their promotion packet.
I do still believe that women should be required to sign up for Selective Service now that they’re ‘equal.’
yes...very likely with other women, this being Obama’s military.
I’ve always thought a very easy way a conservative president could undermine the drive by the PC Navy to put women into combat would be to insist on ships with all female crews. At least the pregnancy rate would be lower.
I am having a tough time finding this Lt. Mac online. I am beginning to wonder if he exists?
Who is Lt. Mac?
The guy who supposedly wrote all about this?
