My grandfather worked at the Hood factory after the war.

We always had plenty of Hood dairy products - lots of Hoodsies.

But I like like their ice cream sandwiches.

Many years ago I was at a hotel when Ben and Jerry’s was just getting started. They were giving away ice cream.

You should have seen the line of folks!

It is really good - heath bar crunch my favorite.

However, I have not purchased their product in years due to their strong support for left wing causes.

I don’t know why people are ga-ga over Blue Bell it’s not even real ice cream.

Blue Bell did make a vanilla that didn’t contain corn syrup. I don’t remember what it was named, maybe Vanilla Bean. I am allergic to corn so it was the only one I bought.
