If you are doing counseling, remember that most of these women are already traumatized. They really need someone to listen to their stories. Listening is the first step.
Traumatized is an understatement, but it’s the best word we’ve got for it :(
I did some peer counselling in a crisis pregnancy center years ago but somehow I think this on the spot deal is likely to be very different.
I hope they have some sort of training.
