They never had a plan to begin with. All that mattered to them was power, control and wealth. Most all of them exit govenrment well off or wealthy. Nothing else mattered.
This has been inordinately clear for decades.

Uncle Joe & the squaw? Won't happen & if it does will go nowhere. There is one 'Rat candidate out there no one is talking about and that's James Webb ... a VA senator and former Secretary of the Navy. Webb graduated from Annapolis and served as a Marine officer in Vietnam. He's a recipient of the Navy Cross and other awards including the Purple Heart. He's not a bogus hero like Kerry ... he's the real deal.
Wouldn’t all those qualifications make Webb pretty toxic to the Dems that vote in primaries?
And we have a chance at nominating a real conservative.
The Demonicrats can wait for that 3 AM knock and then crashdown of the door by federal agents authorized through President Cruz's Justice Department with an arrest warrant for treason....

The Clintons and Obamists have sucked all the air out of the Democratic Party for decades now. There has been no way to survive as a Democrat without toadying up to either the one or the other, no way to survive without supporting every dishonorable thing they ever did.
