Greece Moves Refugees to Mainland, Crush Builds on Border
Marine Link ^ | August 22, 2015 | Joseph R. Fonseca

Greece ferried hundreds of refugees to its mainland on Friday to relieve the pressure on outlying islands that have been overwhelmed by thousands of people arriving by boat to flee Syria's civil war.

At the same time, crowds of migrants massed on the Greek border with Macedonia, preparing to travel north across a continent that is struggling to cope with the influx of desperate people escaping from conflict and poverty.

Very little information being provided about just what all these 'migrants' are supposedly escaping. Some are probably legit and many probably see it as an opportune time to crash into Europe. If escaping poverty gives refugee status, then a billion or three will qualify.

I say put them on the boarders of a Muslim country and push them over!

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Matthew, Catholic chapter twelve, Protestant verses thirty six to thirty seven
as authorized, but not authored, by King James

I say unto you - what do you mean? I’m not saying kill them, I’m saying put them where they can assimilate culturally and religiously. Islam professes charity as one of its requirements yet none seems to be forthcoming from these countries. Are you saying that the West should commit suicide?

Did you not realize the most vulnerable refugees from Syria are the Christians ? Your words just condemned them to further rape, torture, and murder/martyrdom at the hands of ISIS. Did they ruin your British vacation ?

about 10% of the population.[1] The country's largest Christian denomination is the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch (known as the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East),[2][3][4] closely followed by the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, one of the Eastern Catholic Churches which has a common root with the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch,[5] and then by an Oriental Syriac Orthodox Church; there are also a minority of Protestants and members of the Assyrian Church of the East and Chaldean Catholic Church. The city of Aleppo is believed to have the largest number of Christians in Syria.

The Christians are not the ones being accepted as refugees except by a few countries like Slovakia. The vast majority are Muslims invading Europe. If these people flooding into Europe and being settled here were Christian there wouldn’t be that vast a number coming over. Of course, I think we should accept Christians but that has not been Obama’s policy nor has it been the reality on the ground in Europe. Save your snarky comments for someone else please.

Most of those countries are not taking Christians

The U.S. is not taking Christians

Slovakia is trying to hold the line at taking Christians and being pressured for it

Exactly. They'd be much more at home in neighboring Muslim countries - same climate, religion, food, culture, language, everything.

But they're going to Europe, which is the West and is therefore everything they despise. Why, if not to colonize?

Orchestrated invasion, to be sure.

It's all over for Europe (Western Europe, at least). The same story is being played out at the borders of Spain, Italy, Greece, Macedonia, Hungary, England (at Calais) etc...

I will be surprised if I don't witness my country, England, collapse like Syria within my lifetime; it's just a case of, "When?"

The Christians are not the ones being accepted as refugees except by a few countries like Slovakia.

There are 4 million Syrian refugees (out of 18 million Syrians). Ten percent are Christian, 1.8 million. Almost half a million of Syria's Christians have already fled Syria. Over 100,000 refugees crossed EU borders last month alone. A few days ago Slovakia agreed to accept 200 Syrians (Christians only). Your math does not add up. Slovakia is the only country to stipulate it will only take Christians. The others have not (yet) discriminated against refugees on the basis of religion. If you don't want the Bible, please return it and do not claim the name.

It’s called “Golden Dawn”, they are proud Neo-Nazis, and you may as well get used to hearing the name, what with new Greek elections on the schedule already and all.

For some reason you think I injected the Bible into this discussion, I did not - you did. Again the vast majority of refugees are not persecuted Christians and Obama has refused to take them in. I am fine if we separate out the Christians from the Muslims but we’re not doing that and the West is being invaded by a majority of Muslims. I am not looking for a fight with you but I don’t believe Islam and Muslims who won’t assimilate have a place in Western Culture.
