That looks like the Time Tunnel from the 1960s TV show.

It also resembles the Shiva statue they have firmly planted outside their laboratory. Did you see the dance of Shiva they did before restarting the LHC?

I’m finding this whole discussion offensive. This ignores the sensibilities of trans-matter, which is matter than cannot decide, through no fault of its own, whether it is anti-matter or what is commonly known as “matter”.

Regardless, a vicious societal prejudice and obvious wellspring of bias exists simply from calling normal matter “matter” and the other stuff “anti-matter”. Consider: We automatically have a revulsion, just via the terminology, for anti-matter. We know, or some of do, that the two hate each other and have always been at war with each other for millennia. It is well know that they annihilate each other when into proximity. Yet nobody knows why, and for too long, we have ignored the causes. I, for one, believe we could start of process of getting these two antagonistic forces to live with other in peace, in a peace we could all benefit from, if we began calling anti-matter something different.

It’s a microaggression to call matter simply matter, while anti-matter has an extra “anti” in front.

I suggest we call matter “anchor matter.”

Missed it.

It’s a big toy to these scientists.

All that superb electronics, and the German car manufacturers are still competing for the Lucas Electric Award.

The measurements, made with unprecedented precision, add to growing scientific data confirming that matter and antimatter are true mirror images.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Now my plan to construct an Anti-Matter Transporter System can proceed. Imagine stepping into my AMTS and stepping out moments later somewhere in the outskirts of Alpha Centauri. Life is good.

Somebody posted it here — it was fruity.

Fruity in the way that only Euros can be fruity.

You surely mean anchor white matter, not just anchor matter. Let’s not forget about all micro-aggressions that are going on here. It’s not right to say “dark matter” and just plain matter, either.

I heard the other day that dark matter actually had white matter parents and has been tanning and getting weaves to pass as dark.

OK. That might be good. “Something Else” sounds like as good a name as any. “Matter” & “Something Else”.

Another bullet in the carcass of string theory?

String theory wants the violation of CPT symmetry. This experiment verified the preservation of CPT symmetry!

"CPT violation implies the breaking of Lorentz symmetry... In 1989, Alan Kostelecký and Stuart Samuel proved that interactions in string theories could lead to the spontaneous breaking of Lorentz symmetry. Later studies have indicated that loop-quantum gravity, non-commutative field theories, brane-world scenarios, and random dynamics models also involve the breakdown of Lorentz invariance."

String theory and the current multiverse model does seem to have some issues now.
