I thought she had already suspended her campaign. Or so it seems; she makes no appearances except at closed, controlled meetings with hired rent-a-mobs. When she does meet with the press who ask about e-mails, she suspends the meeting and leaves.

If she would suspend, the smell of blood would be in the air and her donors would abandon her (for other possibilities or simply to wait things out) and potential competitors in the ‘RAT ranks would be emboldened.
She KNOWS she is a wounded animal but she cannot let others see confirmation of that fact by her actions.
