"F&F had an interesting segment this morning after re-playing the Trump brouhaha. Little Liz read Roger Ailes letter to Trump wherein he chided The Donald for writing mean tweets about Megyn Kelly. Then Liz lectured The Donald about sticking to the issues because vagina and all that. As if Kelly had stuck with the issues in her questioning of Trump the other day at the debate. Simply incredible hypocrisy. I cannot watch FNC except to monitor what a train wreck it is becoming. Trump is definitely inside their OODA loop."

Thanks for the report. I have given up on Fox lately because they are the new MSNBC and worse. Even Fox Business has become unwatchable with CNBC becoming more impartial. How sad.

I just love those two women. They really are into Trump, aren’t they? Following his every movement and rally.

Why don’t people trust Trump? Would he give us more Obamacare? More taxes? More regulations other, than the border stuff? More gay rights? More abortion? More open borders and unbalanced trade? Or would some of these things get dialed back?

If he’s a closet liberal or if he’s a RINO, then why is the GOP treating him like the tea party? Why is the press trying every trick in the book to label him a bigot or woman hater?

Maybe he’s just an imperfect man who cares about America and has the power far and above all other candidates to fix some things and dial back socialism 15 years.

Because Trump has no track record we can use to know his heart. He supports the progressive tax code. He supports higher taxes before budget cuts. He criticized Gov Walker for restraining spending and not raising taxes. Trump has praised gay marriage. Trump has supported abortion. There is no reason to think these things are part of his agenda, like Obama. But he is not a conservative on these issues.

If he’s a closet liberal or if he’s a RINO, then why is the GOP treating him like the tea party? Why is the press trying every trick in the book to label him a bigot or woman hater?

Because the GOP does not know his heart either. The GOP knows he has not been a faithful Republican for his whole life. Why would the GOP have a better handle on Trump than you or me?

Maybe he’s just an imperfect man who cares about America and has the power far and above all other candidates to fix some things and dial back socialism 15 years.

I am not comfortable voting for a "maybe".

Not just unflappable but he is in charge. Not only was the disruptor removed he was also allowed back in. When he showed he would play by the rules Trump answered not just one but several of his questions. A good lesson for all press

Was interesting to watch the twitter feed on it afterwards. It seemed as if everyone with a Hispanic name was aghast that such a giant of the media had been so “disrespected”—without any acknowledgment that Ramos was the one being incredibly disrespectful and rude.

Not only did Trump not get flustered or emotional about it, but he immediately said how he’d like the guy to return, and when Ramos did Trump went way out of his way to engage in a dialogue with him on several questions and finish up complimenting Ramos on his honesty while making an overture to further discussion.

Unfortunately some of the other press members seemed to be sticking up for Ramos after he was booted out.

I saw this on TV and heard it on the radio on the way into work this morning.

Personally, I don't understand the defense of Ramos. The dude has an Agenda and it's not pro-American.

Trump has actually said he likes the flat tax. He has been advocating lower taxes and cuts for years. The only exception was over 20 years ago during the Perot era, when Trump said he’d support a one-time wealth tax on people with over $10M in assets in order to completely pay off the federal debt and run debt-free going forward.

He has criticized Walker for cranking up a multibillion-dollar deficit and big borrowing in WI.

He’s a pragmatic businessman who has had to get along with Democrats in NYC, but he was a national fundraiser for Reagan and he has supported Republicans and Republican causes for years.

Walker was advocating amnesty and citizenship for illegals with effective open borders just two years ago, is personally in debt, and is funded by big pro-amnesty donors.

I trust Trump far more than Walker, who has transparently changed positions to fit his personal ambition and political expediency.

Saw that. F&F is definitely jumping the shark.

I’ll find something else to listen to while I get ready in the morning.

They have been hiding from a paper tiger all these years, when they could have been winning.

...

True, but the GOPe has no interest in winning. Their interest is quietly growing the government and quiet corruption that makes politicians and their cronies rich.

"I am not comfortable voting for a "maybe"."

Well, at this point, it looks like you could be faced with a "maybe" vs a member of the uniparty who is definitely not with us.

Unfortunately some of the other press members seemed to be sticking up for Ramos after he was booted out. Trump should have asked them what made Ramos so important that he got to stand up and go ahead of everybody else even though he wasn't called upon. The first person Trump called on wasn't even able to get his question asked because the inconsiderate Ramos kept shouting over him.

Does anyone else see the symbolism of the moment? Trump "deports" the Mexican who "illegally" tries to cut to the front of the line, and then lets Ramos back in only after he agrees to behave and play by the rules.

Trump has actually said he likes the flat tax.

The day before that, he was on TV saying he liked progressive taxes and having the wealthy pay a higher percentage.

Which Donald Trump do you believe? The one talking to the conservative host (flat tax) or the one talking to the liberal host (progressive tax)?

He has criticized Walker for cranking up a multibillion-dollar deficit and big borrowing in WI.

Which is 100% false. It is a tactic that was used by liberals against Walker in the recall and his re-election as well. The truth is that Wisconsin is on a 2-year budget cycle that requires borrowing to cover gaps created because tax receipts do not flow in the same way spending flows out. It is short-term borrowing, like what any company does to manage cash flow.

Walker cut Wisconsin's deficit and debt while cutting government spending and taxes. Wisconsin property taxes have dropped dramatically under Walker due to his realignment of government priorities.

Everything Walker has done as governor has been 100% conservative, but Trump attacks Walker using liberal talking points......talking points that are lies and failed twice against Walker in the past.

Walker was advocating amnesty and citizenship for illegals with effective open borders just two years ago.

You are a friggin' LIAR. Walker NEVER supported amnesty or open borders. He advocated more legal immigration and tightening the borders, but never open borders. He adopted Jeff Sessions positions on immigration months before Trump was on the radar screen and admitted his past positions were wrong.

I trust Trump far more than Walker, who has transparently changed positions to fit his personal ambition and political expediency.

That is your prerogative. However, Walker has a track record as governor that cannot be assailed by a conservative because it is pure conservatism. Trump has been on both sides of all the issues over the years and, in my opinion, just saying what we want to hear so he can get the nomination. Once that is secured, he will pivot and change his tune on many, many things.

I always listen to Bill Bennett. He does get interesting guests and topics. Granted, he is establishment, but he is fair and presents the conservative side most of the time. Just take him with a grain of salt.

I haven't watched F&F since they took off the sock puppets. Bad move on their part.

Trump could not have bought this type of a favorable event.

Trump speaking against illegals and a big mouth latino “journalist” starts shouting at him, what he can do, what he can’t do.

Trump had him “deported” and then allowed him back in “legally” and then sliced and diced him in the ensuing debate.

Trump’s numbers will move up after this.

Jorge might have helped put Trump in the WH
