Which is why I always refer to the MSM as The Ministry Of Propaganda.

they lied by only telling half the story.

One of the favorite techniques of The Ministry Of Propaganda. Sometimes they just ignore stories altogether.
If they don’t cover it, it didn’t happen.
If they have to cover it, the spin will be applied to fit the narrative.

It’s the flip side of Bernie Sanders having his events hijacked by “Black Lives Matters” idiots. It gets to the point where you can’t give the public an inch or they will walk all over you and Sanders is living proof. How can he propose to run the country if he can’t stand up to two black women yanking the microphone from him? Ramos asked for it, Trump hgave it to him, end of story.

Thank you for being honest with us, Jorge...I'm sure it was an accident.

We don't call that journalism here, Jorge. We call that advocacy, and assume your bias.

Essentially what he’s saying is a long time leftwing idea. Why should news groups give balance to the other side when the debate is over.

In this instance, they believe Trump is a racist. There is no debate. Everyone agrees. So Ramos will take him on, not as a journalist, but as an activist who happens to have power.

These people are dangerous.

Pushing a political agenda should not be the job of a journalist.

But they all do it.

Liberals love to take words and re-purpose them.

And you wonder why George Orwell wrote that famous essay Politics and the English Language and demonstrated why he felt that way in two famous novels, Animal Farm and 1984.

Excellent liberal dictionary you have there. Add some more words to it and you might have a best seller on your hands.

“Jorge Ramos attempts to re-define “Journalism.””

More like Jorge Ramos epitomizes “jounalism”.

Half U.S., half Mexican citizen Jorge Ramos was thrown out for being disrespectful, namely, when Trump called on a different reporter on the other side of the room, Jorge interrupted and then wouldn’t shut up. It’s as simple as that. I for one am tired of seeing the kommiemedia trying to bully candidates they don’t like and watching the candidates take their beatings like good little momma’s boys. Trump as least has the huevos to fight back. GO TRUMP!

Heck, Hillary won’t even let the press get within shouting distance of her, and that seems to be ok with the kommiemedia. Go figure.

[BTW, Jorge, you CLAIM to be a journalist, that is, one who REPORTS what’s happening; that’s not the same thing as having a “right” to “challenge” a candidate whom you disagree with. Now you’re advocating that ALL journalists denounce Trump? So, that’s YOUR idea of a “journalist”? Someone who denounces people when they’re pretending to be interviewing them? The latter is what an activist does, not a journalist. So, now at least the mask has officially been pulled away for you, namely, you are NOT actually a journalist, but an activist POSING as a journalist. AND more and more people are starting to see why the rest of us have held so-called “journalists” in such low regard for so long. Namely, most “journalists” are simply activist poseurs, and 99.99% are members of the kommiemedia. Oh, and any so-called “journalist” organization that supports Ramos’ behavior simply shows that they too are nothing but activist poseurs as well.]

“I think the best journalism happens when you take a stand ...”

When you take a stand, you are no longer practicing journalism, which places supreme value on objectivity and fairness. You are then practicing advocacy and you become someone whom real journalists write about.

Watch Tom Woods’s video, “Interview with a Zombie.” Then watch Jorge Ramos interviewing Ted Cruz. It’s almost the same video.

Ramos was asked what he would say to critics who say he is more of an advocate than a journalist.

"I think the best journalism happens when you take a stand, and when it comes to racism, discrimination, corruption, public life, dictatorship or human rights, as journalists, we are not only required but we are forced to take a stand, and clearly when Mr. Trump is talking about immigration in an extreme way, we have to confront him, and I think that's what I did yesterday,"

“Required?" "Forced?" By whom exactly?

When a journalist is opposed to a candidate he tries to embarrass him. Journalists are propagandists, and so are candidates. Journalists deserve, and from conservatives journalists get, no presumption of objectivity or any form of superior virtue. They are in the arena, and they don’t get to only ask questions, as Megyn Kelly would have it.

Journalists don’t do stuff, they criticize people who do. Thus, their constant incentive is towards cynicism.

The American Press Institute defines "Journalism" as "Journalism is the activity of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting news and information.” OPINION is not "news and information," it is OPINION.
”News and information” is sawdust. You can turn to the stock tables in the Wall Street Journal and find lots of information. Text “information” is always written from a perspective. No matter how much information you print, there is always more - and “Half the truth is often a great lie.” “Man Bites Dog, not Dog Bites Man” is a perspective. “There’s nothing more worthless than yesterday’s newspaper” is a perspective.

And since the first step in attempting to be objective is scrutinizing your response to the facts for the possibility that “where you stand” might depend on “where you sit,” anyone who claims actually to be objective (as opposed to an honest claim to be trying) has prejudged that first question, and is hopelessly biased. And that is unchanged if instead of claiming objectivity for yourself, you belong to a mutual admiration society (such as the Associated Press) which will claim objectivity for you.

“Freedom of the press” is not reserved to the membership of the AP; it is a right of the people to spend their own money as they see fit to attempt to propagate their own opinions. The AP is neither a title of nobility nor a priesthood under the First Amendment.
