Luke 17: 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed

I remember when “Is the Pope Catholic?” was a sarcastic comment, not a serious question.

Isn’t that special? A ‘couple’ of the same sex gets a Papal blessing.
I know that my decision to leave the church forty years ago was indeed correct.
Are there any primitive catholic groups out there?

“Is the Pope Communist?”
That’s a bit harsh.
“Religious Communist” might be better.

There are the Father Feeney sects, one in Western Massachusetts and another in southwestern New Hampshire.
Problem with Feeney is that he was a virulent anti-Semite.

....wishing her and her wife well in their work....
A woman CANNOT have a wife, and a man CANNOT have a husband—not even with a “blessing” from the Frankish pope!!!!

In his message, the pope wished the two women "ever more fruitful work in the service of young generations and in spreading authentic human and Christian values."So. Let me get this straight. this women is a lesbian, 'married' to another lesbian and they're raising 4 children. She writes children's books praising gay parenthood and the 'holy' father (what a joke that is!) praises her for 'spreading authentic human and Christian values.'
Don't tell me this man isn't evil and and an enemy to Christianity.

One begins to wonder if the House of Cards that elected Francis used the same vetting methods as the U.S. voters in 2008, i.e. willful ignorance.

No.
Not harsh at all.
Have you heard what the Pope has said about Capitalism?
He is totally contemptuous of free market capitalism in every way possible.
