Donald Trump Sparks GOP Soul

A well-intentioned article by Noah Rothman in Commentary Magazine offers that Donald Trump’s supporters are the right wing’s version of Obama’s vacuous “Hope and Change” acolytes. Says Rothman: “Trump is the right’s Obama, insofar as his policy preferences are ill-defined, pliable, and reflective of whatever the audience immediately before him wants them to be.” Such comparisons short-change Trump’s supporters.

Try again. Most Trump supporters or non-detractors know exactly what Trump is and isn’t but more importantly they know what Washington DC. How more simpleton analysis like this are we going to have to take before these guys realize that Trump is the anti-thesis of Obama. He’s the anti-Washington D.C. candidate. He’s also the anti-politically correct candidate, the anti snarky elitist candidate and on and on. He’s also the pro America candidate which too many GOP seems to believe means being racist cause we don’t want to just surrender our Country to a bunch of neo-socialists from the third World.

I support Cruz first and foremost but if its Trump then I’ve very happy to send that big golden middle finger of a politician to Washington DC like a nuclear bomb and enjoy the show. We’ve suffered the pain, abuse, and the smearing for too long. Its beyond time that we made the lives of the political elite a living hell and Trump would do that if nothing else.

Trump's immigration policy is well defined on his website from a goals and objectives standpoint. I think that is wise to have pliable methods to meet goals and objectives since the implementation of the policy is in the future. His immigration policy has been consistent, but it is reflective of his audience since his audience largely consists of people who agree with him. I fully expect that Trump will issue position/policy papers over time and the same will be true.

This article is pure, weak-minded rubbish.

Perhaps he is only the bell ringer to awaken citizens to action.

If those citizens seem to come from the Taxed Enough Already movement, the Christian Evangelical movement, and even from those others who have appeared to be in an almost hypnotic state of concern about America's status, then they may come from that portion of the citizenry most likely to be trustworthy arbiters in the battle between America's founding ideas and those of so-called "progressive" politicians and their mind controllers.

Many citizens within those groups have done independent study of the founding ideas, and they know that liberty is at risk when "change" agents believing in the counterfeit ideas of socialism are in charge of the nation's future.

Remember, Paul Revere is said to have been a "peripheral" factor in the Revolutionary War for Independence, but he was an important link in that historical event which changed the world. Revere, too was a successful business man and craftsman.

Others had to assume their individual role as the philosophical foundation articulators who wrote the "Declaration of Independence" and framed the "Constitution of the United States of America," and served as Presidents and Legislators and Justices under the limitations and bounds of that Constitution.

If, indeed, there is a "movement," then the "movement" must assert its will to hold its leaders to strict adherence to the Constitution.
