Carson is a safe choice for many people to hide out in while the flak is heavy on other candidates.
The poll yesterday that had Trump 23/Carson 18 was done by Selzer who is considered the gold standard of Iowa pollsters. This new poll today done by Monmouth is a good data point but probably not as accurate.
That said, Ben Carson has been working the past two years in Evangelical circles. He has also been spending money on commercials in Iowa the past two weeks. That explains his rise.
Carson is not filling stadiums with 30,000 people. I don’t see him beating Trump out for the Iowa vote.

The Monmouth margin of error of 5% could probably have him at 18 also.

What this indicates to me is that the RNC may already be manipulating circumstances in the background. If they can insert Carson into the fray as a wedge to defeat Trump in Iowa, they then can propel the image that Trump has peaked.
Carson has no money.

There is a big evangelical vote in IA which is a natural constituency for Carson.
Huck and Santorum have done well there in the past.
I think she'd be worse than the others. She loves Hillary, is a feminazi, and hasn't paid off her debt from her Senate run. Those are people who worked for her, trusted her to hold up her end of the deal and pay them, yet she can't seem to get even that small task done. If she doesn't care about them, she wouldn't care about us.
