Yeah, those idiots at FedEx lost my package of plutonium, too. I would advise NOT giving FedEx you radioactive shipment business. I have no idea were all my plutonium packages have gone.

It was probably used as seasoning in a chili cookoff and didn't even win.

They should check the FedEx tracking number.

I was wondering why my breakfast burrito had a certain glow to it.

Yes, but there are fairly stringent rules on packaging and paperwork.

"we hasten to add it doesn't present a health threat to the community provided the contents, which are secured in a box with two layers of inner containment, are not disturbed"This is the same general precaution issued in the past when some nuclear bombs have been temporarily lost.

There is a paper trail for the entire journey.

Good afternoon. I hope you are doing well.
Did you notice that they didn't specify what type of radioactive material?

As long as it isn’t opened ....
Could be merely “irritating” or up to “deadly” if it is opened.
Radioactive” covers a very, very wide range of “things” from granitetop counters to Coleman lantern ceramics to gamma-ray sources.

Of course, NONE of the sources have any usable info, like what the isotope is and how much was in the shipment.
Apparently all reporters these days are idiots.

The Jihadi plan is to attach radioactive materials to bombs.
Now... how would one get small amounts of radioactive material ?
