This is a more appropriate application of Romans 13 when considering our model of government.

“...Romans 13 is a treatise by Paul and the Apostles on the institution of model government. As we rightly divide the word of truth and take this passage in its total context, we will discover seven truths:

1.Good government is ordained by God.

2.Government officials are to be good ministers who represent God.

3.We the people must obey good and godly laws.

4.As we relate Romans 13 to America, our Constitution is the higher power — not the IRS tax code.

5.Good government is not to be feared.

6.In America, we are to pay honor and custom and constitutional taxes to whom it is due.

7.Government is to protect the righteous and punish the wicked.

As a result, we have a practical, historical and biblical mandate to fervently disobey any unconstitutional laws and all government officials who cease to be good ministers of Jesus Christ. God almighty is the only power that deserves unlimited obedience.”

_____________________________________________

“...Notice that civil government must not be a “terror to good works.” It has no power or authority to terrorize good works or good people. God never gave it that authority. And any government that oversteps that divine boundary has no divine authority or protection.

Civil government is a “minister of God to thee for good.” It is a not a minister of God for evil. Civil magistrates have a divine duty to “execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” They have no authority to execute wrath upon him that doeth good. None. Zilch. Zero. And anyone who says they do is lying. So, even in the midst of telling Christians to submit to civil authority, Romans Chapter 13 limits the power and reach of civil authority....”

She is not violating a law. In fact, she is following the Kentucky State Constitution which prohibits same sex marriage. As an elected official she is standing up for her constituents against unelected federal judges.

In that case, Kentucky should be backing her up. As so far it appears they haven’t, apparently they have relinquished authority to federal courts and judges.

This man is a true conservative, we need him in the White House.

If you don't know Scripture enough to realize the source of that quote, you're probably on the wrong website.
Sorry you were too stupid to get the point.

This website doesn't require me to know your scripture, nor thank god, are you the arbiter of who uses the website.

The best part about Ted is that he’s not calling on conservatives, he’s calling on believers. Because he knows that all other distinctions pale in comparison to faith in Jesus Christ. Yes, we need this type of discernment in our lives and in our government.

As usual, Ted Cruz has nailed it. And as usual, Carly Fiorina doesn't get it. You know what would really motivate evangelicals to go vote EN MASSE in 2016? If Christians like this lady are being jailed for their Christian beliefs. We'd win in a landslide. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Such a strong, courageous statement by Ted Cruz worthy of the strong, courageous Kim Davis.

Now I understand why you post the way you do.

She was directly elected by her constituents and they are her boss not the federal courts.

He certainly nailed it tonight on the Megyn Kelly show in his defense of the clerk following her conscience.

I do not expect the Democrat Governor to oppose the Federal Government overreach. In fact, many politicians from both Parties have all but officially surrendered States Rights and Individual Citizens Rights to the arbitrary rule of Washington D.C.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand.

But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

However, if she unwilling do her job, for what ever reason, she should be re-assigned.

Man, you boot-lickers are really coming out of the woodwork.

Like magic, the supreme court can with the wave of its wand redefine an institution that has existed for all of recorded history and everyone who doesn't jump on the bandwagon is wrong?

They are delusional and obeying their mindless edicts is an act of moral cowardice.

I don’t necessarily want to bring up his past voting record, ehem, Corker Amendment. I’m talking about this particular issue right now. Go to Kentucky and stand at the jail cell, hold a rally, invite people to come, and they will, and demand justice!

I’m sick of lip service and hash tags!
