Thank you so much! We're just now back home from Louie's first trip to his new Vet here. SHE is so nice and she loved him! The other two Vet-nurses also loved him! I didn't have to hold him the whole time we were there and he got lots of "free samples" of everything !

Louie weighs exactly 6 pounds! He got his proper shot for 9-10 week old puppies, his nails trimmed and he goes back in 3 weeks for another shot.

He was SO GOOD the entire time. Never even whimpered when he received the injection.

No worms or anything, but I have a Heartgard chewable that I must give him this evening. Also some K9advantixII that I must put on him this evening. She gave me several little bottles of Hylyt shampoo. (I don't think he needs a bath) so I'll just put on that K9advantixII this evening.

One of the Vet-nurse's has a French Bulldog puppy, too. Hers is the color of that puppy I like so much. jazusamo knows which one.

I told them I was planning to have him neutered at 6 months, but the Vet said we will talk about that next time because she said he's so distinctly cute "we" might want to breed him...lol. (Just what I need: a female for him)!

Louie was an excellent front seat passenger and he rode in the grocery cart very nicely too. (Big Lots let me bring him in)!

I need to eat and then I'll come back here. Louie is passed out in his own bed!

That’s great, onyx. :) He’s so stinking cute, as they say here. LOL!

I wouldn’t have any dog altered until at least 12 months, because it can affect their growth. Our Chunga was extremely tall because he was altered at a young age. Oddly enough, becoming larger than standard can be one of the effects of early neutering.

Your vet is correct, too. He seems to have a wonderful temperament, and you might want to eventually breed him. Talk to your breeder or a member of the French Bulldog breed club in your state. They can be extremely helpful. Ask about puppy training classes. They’re fun, and if you choose to show or have him shown, you’ll need to take him to some classes. They’re excellent for socialization and bonding.

Keep posting pictures. I love them. :)

“What I think is two things, number one, that restricting the right to keep and bear arms is unconstitutional.

The Second Amendment is an integral part of the Bill of Rights. And what it means is, politicians cannot come and strip the guns from law-abiding Americans. But, number two, it’s misguided policy. If you look at the jurisdictions with the strictest gun control laws, almost without exception, they have the highest crime rates and the highest murder rates.

If you look at the jurisdictions that most vigorously protect our right to keep and bear arms, almost without exception, they have the lowest crime rates and the lowest murder rates. Gun control policies don’t work.

And they’re contrary to the Constitution."
