T. PETERSBURG, FL (WFLA) — St. Petersburg Police Department supervisors will be trained, for the first time, on how to interact with transgender people during arrests or exchanges on Friday.
Chief Anthony Holloway outlined a policy on appropriate interactions with transgender individuals. “It is the policy of the St. Petersburg Police Department to treat all people with dignity, respect, and professionalism,” the department states. The training is part of a broader trend across the country. About a year ago the Department of Justice started training agencies on interacting with people in the transgender community.
Several recent issues have pushed the 700,000 transgender people in the U.S. into the spotlight. The recent murder of transgender Tampa woman, India Clarke, made headlines. The recent publicity for Caitlyn Jenner is also bringing a new awareness.
This country gets sicker by the day.

Clearly, the police should handle transgender cases by letting the trangender perps go free. Same with gays generally. Also blacks and Hispanics (at least those not here legally). Not only will that policy keep down complaints, but it will make their job a whole lot easier.

one has to wonder what sort of crime rate there could be among “transgenders” and what the odds are that there are any....in St. Petersburg

Do they really arrest that many, and why?
Can’t wait for the first County Coroner to be fired for having the insensitivity and audacity to use actual science to identify remains. Odds are, they will work in Liberal Land.

So if they arrest a guy who thinks he if female....where do they put him? Female jail? Male jail?
I really REALLY DOUBT that there are 70 thousand let alone 700 thousand in the entire nation

Trans whatever are disgusting people that we used to go out of our way to avoid. They’re nasty. I’d relegate them to the same social strata as the old man in the trench coat going into the porno theater.
