Cuomo’s staffer sounds like a fine upstanding guy. But this was a black on black shooting. Why should whites be deprived of guns and self defense just because blacks go crazy with guns? Whites need guns as an equalizer against a stronger younger criminal who might be on drugs.
Here is how it went down>>>
“Carey W. Gabay, 43, a former attorney in Cuomo’s office and now first deputy general counsel for Empire State Development in its New York City office, was attending pre-parade festivities in the early morning hours Sunday in a Crown Heights neighborhood when it appears he was shot once in the head after a spray of bullets came from a fight on the street. Cuomo said it was eight to 10 bullets that were shot during the incident that happened around 3:40 a.m.”

Latest is that it was gang related. Police sources told the New York Daily News that the shooting resulted from a gang-related beef.
The Crown Heights area is full of gang related violence. Being in the area at 3am is problematic.

It was one of at least three shootings along the parade route in the wee hours of Labor Day, in which four people were injured (including Gabay) and one young man was killed.

I visited upstate NY last year, was pleasantly surprised by all the anti-Cuomo/SAFE Act signs I saw, til my pal reminded me that one block in NYC contained more mindless Dem voters, than all the signs that we had witnessed.
