Go, Trump, GO!!
September 7, 2015 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 09/07/2015 10:36:08 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

As long as he's kicking liberal, RINO and GOP-e butt and using his own money to do so, I say go, Trump, GO!!

I'm a Cruz fan and don't see how Trump kicking the crap out of our common foe does us any harm. Let him have at it.

If he destroys the GOP-e GREAT!!

If he destroys el Jebbe and all the other amnesty pimps, GREAT!!

If he destroys Hillary in the process, GREAT again!!

We've never had it so great. Finally a man comes along and takes the establishment head-on and kicks the crap out of them. Is that not a good thing?

I think the Trump bashers might want to sit back awhile and enjoy the show.

Go, Trump. GO!!

Would you want Bill Gates in charge of the FCC or government databases because he's created software?

Your gut tells you wrong again, boiler room man!

Bill Gates created little in the software realm, though he was good at writing simple programs. He is a businessman like Donald Trump, though, who uses the talents of others to create wealth. He joined with Paul Allen to start Micro_soft (original company name), and bought the work of another guy to sell DOS to IBM.

I was in the Navy, too! I spent my top on top of the ship, where the breezes kept my head clearer, I guess! I will vote Trump if he's the one on the ticket. Nobody else is even on the horizon! I'm accustomed to looking at the horizon, instead of the smell of oil! Or, did all that Nuke stuff fry some synapses?

Thank you Mr. Robinson, thank you! I sit here, and everyday reader...RARE poster...reading anti-Trump post after anti-Trump post and just pulling my hair in frustration at those on ‘my’ side.

This guy fights. He is not afraid to fight. You punch him and he punches right back and HARD! He hates PC nonsense and tells it like he sees it. He is right on many issues....ones that will guarantee this great country might just survive another generation....regain some of what we’ve lost under Obama. And good FReepers are fighting to take him down!!

No, he is not Conservative....never thought he was. But there is something about him that gives me actual hope. Haven’t had that in a while...I’m 64 and have been turning so pessimistic in my expectations it has scared me.... and I used to be a ‘sunshine susie’. She’s been gone for several years now. I welcome her return!

With every utterance of ‘bimbo’ and ‘stupid’ hurled back at those attacking him, I began to smile again. I hope this lasts. I know it will. He will not ‘walk back’ comments the idiot media gasp at. He will double down and he will win the day.

It will NOT be a bad thing if this ‘movement’ grows and he goes all the way. He is NOT our enemy. He likes Ted Cruz and I see a partnership of some kind growing between them. He will give Cruz cover to continue doing what Cruz does best....or he will include Cruz IN a Trump administration. The fact that Sarah is also being included adds an element of sheer joy to the whole thing.

So yes, guys, quit trying to bring Trump down, sit back and enjoy. I sense he’s in this to win it....all in. Only good can be the result.

Listen up Schmuck. I didn't post what I posted for you to start a whizzing contest with me. You win. You're full of it.

Now as far as the politics? I've been following the Conservative movement for two decades. Before FR there was N.E.T. ran by Paul Weyrich a Conservative based network. Watching it I learned a lot from real conservatives. My sign on the FR came several years later in 1999. I've seen a lot more flame wars than you and I've seen this board turned into a stinking war zone every single POTUS election by a hand full demanding allegiance by all to their pick. I don't care who you vote for. I'm not fully committed to any candidate.

It's too early & this is as early as this insanity has started in here before an election I do believe. All it ever accomplished was members who were good posters with honest opinions being banned, leaving, ran off. Nothing More.

This has nothing to do with the ships except we can't afford any more losses. Be 100% honest do you think if I walked up to Trump and said what do you think about the End Troop Strengths he would even have any clue as to what that term means? It is one of the most important terms in defense. It was one ignored by Clinton, Bush, and Obama and congress since 1996 the basic numbers we still operate under. Serious questions. Not how much money does Trump have. I want answers about the nation. And I don't want evaded vague answers either. Comprehend?

Your typical Trump cultist can’t help but be obnoxious, just like Trump.

If the candidates worth can't be debated sensibly on their actual knowledge of Constitution and what they have stood for previously and such then we have done lost. A lot of dirty tactics have gone on the past 20 years and too often Conservatives on the short end of it like the congressional elections under Bush. They can't understand why people say be cautious it may be a set up.

I remember the Fred Thompson gonna save the day fiasco. Fred saved McCains place in line for him so a Conservative wouldn't get it and nothing more. The greatest thing Fred Thompson did was before he was a senator. He took down Tennessee's corrupt pardon selling governor. The greatest thing Lamar Alexander did politically was succeed that felon governor a day early. That was done at the request of the DEM State Speaker.

Totally agree, half the battle is finding someone who can articulate and fight back the demonic liberal establishment nazis. Thus far, Trunmp is the only man that is doing it, and landing blow after blow.

I’d love to see a Trump/Cruz ticket. In my opinion, unstoppable.

I don't think there is a cut and dried selection here on Free Republic. I think JR is just saying he's content for this site to let Trump rip up Bush, the bushies, and HIllary. I'm OK with that, too.

My favorite is Cruz as well. Always has been. I'll continue donating to him. He's made a few mis-steps.

My 2nd choice is to injure the GOP-E in any way that I can. They are in the process of supporting planned parenthood so they don't have to argue budget, so says Mitch McConnell.

I ask myself, this GOP is OKAY with selling baby parts.

How in the world can Donald Trump be worse than that?

On those issues ALL of their feet have to be held to the fire till they scream Stop Murdering Babies Now. The only leverage we have as citizens in that respect short of physical force is our vote. Make them earn it and work hard to get it. Don't let a one think they have anything won.

Conservatives especially have been taken for granted in the GOP since 1989 and were removed from power within the party by 1997 or so. Right now the party and pretty much the nation is under siege. No one allows one they don't know into a watch area without a challenge as to credentials to be there. Even then you have to watch the enemies from within who are there acting as friend doing the enemies work. That's the only way I can explain it.

“Running a business is not the same as running a country. Businesses place bets between risk and reward. That’s not the way to run a country.”

Yeah, like the politicians have been doing such a great job, ... not.

“Well when one of Trump’s businesses doesn’t work out, and there’s been a number of them, they go into bankruptcy leaving the other businesses that provided goods and service to his business to eat it while he walks away.”

For the record, exactly 4 of Trump’s 500 businesses went into Chapter 11 bankruptcy (restructuring). 4 subsidiaries out of 500, that’s a pretty darn good record and Trump was never in a personal bankruptcy. Airlines move in and out of Chapter 11 all the time, as do many Ma and Pa shops and restaurants, etc. My relatives had a restaurant go belly up when the bottom fell out of the market and they couldn’t recover from the loss of customers when people stopped going out to many non-franchise eateries. So you paint with a broad brush without knowing any of the actual facts. Typical.

Trump seems to support continued funding for Planned Parenthood. Shouldn’t you include him in your condemnation?

Trump took his father’s inheritance of 6 million dollars and parlayed it into 6-10 BILLION DOLLARS. That’s quite the return on his father’s initial seed money, wouldn’t you say? Trump equals businessman par excellence.

We need Ted Cruz on the Supreme Court for forty years.

Having him as VP would be a total waste.

That’s not what he said. He said that IF they got rid of the abortion part of planned parenthood, then the pap smear and breast exam and women’s services part was okay with him.
IF.
Can’t ignore the IF or you totally miss what he actually said.
Get rid of the abortion part.

No, you are not correct. His father had a construction firm that mainly concentrated on middle class housing. His father was in no means what most would call rich but he was not poor either. Trump took that business and made it what it is today.
