Good Samaritans help deputy who was being beaten during traffic stop

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd called three good Samaritans "heroes" who helped a motorcycle deputy who was being beaten on the side of the road by a driver he pulled over in Winter Haven.
"We can never thank them enough for their selfless actions," Judd posted on Facebook.

A good friend of mine who was a long time Atlanta auxillary officer had to help a cop once. He and his wife were driving in a rural area on their way back through NC to GA and he passed an officer who had two meth heads pulled over and was trying cuff them and the bigger druggy was getting the better of him. My friend picked up his hogleg .45 off the back seat and ran across the road and put it up to the perp’s head and told him to get on the ground or get his head blown off. That was one thankful cop.
