Donald Trump said Thursday that when he suggested Carly Fiorina's face would make her unelectable, he wasn't talking about her looks.

And while I know this is anecdotal, conservative women I know (two of them being Mrs. henkster my wife and Mrs. henkster my mom) are very much put off by it and are much less likely to vote for him because of it.

But I do believe that if push came to shove in a general election, they would vote for him over Clinton. Still, he needs to stop the comments that the media will construe as snarky, particularly about women. It’s making a poor visceral reaction.
