I would tend to agree with leaving them to wallow in their own stew, but. This is a genuine genocide, and we have some responsibility as our elected officials (Obama, Clinton) set up the conditions to destabilize the ME. To the best of my knowledge, the vast majority of Syria's Jews left in 1948 and 1949. Many came to the US, most of the rest to Israel (some in Mexico, I know). Virtually all of the rest left by the end of 1967.
I was waxing philosophical. I don’t see how we vet any of them either and there are no Jews. The best thing to do is don’t take any of them. Let the Europeans take them as they are hell bent on suicide anyway.
Saint Louis is one of the “Refugee Cities”. We have been down this road before with Bosnians after the Balkan war. The lady on the news tonight said one of the plans is to disperse the “families” in the suburbs as opposed to the city like last time. It will be kind of like section 8 where they will move them into middle class neighborhoods (like mine) and not tell anybody..
I am no respector of parties anymore. It amazes me how fast my political education has progressed, from stupid apathy, to enthusiastic Republican support, to realising that they’re all one Uniparty. My only question to myself is how long has it been that way, that they’ve been a Uniparty?
