I listened to Kasich’s reasons yesterday and they made sense to me. He explained the difference between Clinton and Obama on why Newt doing it in the 90s was successful in the long run although he took hits during the shutdown.

Name me one good reason why any conservative should vote for Kasich (D-Ohio).

“Kasich is placing the blame based on the Dems view that since the Pubbies know whet the Dems will do (filibuster and veto) then they are at fault.”

Precisely.

We always hear that the Republicans will be blamed for a government shutdown, and that is because the Republican leadership steps up and obligingly accuses Republicans of causing the shutdown. The msm and the democrats are not needed.

Did he say anything about when he might be standing up for principle and showing America there is a Republic who will? Did anyone ask him if funding Planned Parenthood will been seen by millions of (potential) voters as an act of cowardice?

Because, without those questions being raised and resolved, I don’t think his position would have made sense to me.
