U.S. Federal Government Program: Pay Minnesota Muslims Not To Kill People….
Conservative Treehouse ^ | Sept 15 2015 | Sundance

If you thought Secretary Kerry’s 2013 “Jobs for Jihadists” program was goofy, wait until you read about this one.

The U.S. federal government is announcing a new program called CVE (Counter Violent Extremism) in Minneapolis Minnesota. Under the U.S. program, authorized by President Obama, Somali Muslims living in Minnesota will be paid not to go on terror rampages. or blow themselves up.

…”Led by a taskforce of 15 Somali Americans and a traditional community grant-making organization, the Counter Violent Extremism (CVE) program is the brainchild of the chief federal prosecutor for Minnesota, Andrew Luger. […] The goal is to prevent youth recruitment by overseas extremist groups such as Isis or al-Shabaab”….

Any individual found engaged in an act of violent jihad will have their monthly payment stopped, and all federal income subsides removed. They’re calling it “crime prevention“, so there’s always that….

(VIA GUARDIAN) Hibaaq Osman has a glow that changes the energy in a room, or in her case, the energy of the restaurant her family owns in Karmel mall, the oldest Somali mall in Minneapolis. The cafe is right near the mosque on the top floor of the building, past rows of entrepreneurs selling wares in individual stalls, sipping hot drinks in small cups and chatting in Somali.

Osman retains her glow, even in anger. And after a press conference held outside the mosque, she is upset.

“I feel like we as a community need to wake up,” she said. “We need to wake up and say, ‘You know what? Enough is enough.’ We are citizens, we are taxpayers, we own businesses, we need people to understand that we also are part of this country just the way anybody else is.” […]

Opponents of the CVE program point out that these 40 individuals make up less than 0.3% of Minnesota’s Somali population.

Already, the CVE pilot program has been re-branded with a new name, Building Community Resilience. Luger’s office says it captures the essence of his vision: to keep teens from Minnesota from traveling to the Middle East and blowing themselves up.

Luger says it will do so by providing $216,000 in federal funds – in addition to other local and private support – which will be disbursed to community groups through a grant-making organization. The social services supported by the funding serve as crime prevention, he contends.

But a statement issued from a coalition protesting the program asserted: “The Minnesota Muslim community is united over its growing concerns of the CVE pilot program, which so far has only alienated the very communities it was seeking to influence. While attempting to derail the communities’ own initiative to enhance its ability to build community resilience.” (read more)

A more successful approach would be for the US FedGuv to put a bounty on Muslims illegally in the country.

The prototype for this program gave us Joker and Tamerlan Tsarnaev and the Boston massacre.
One thing you can say for sure about the giant brains behind U.S. Federal Government Programs, they may be stupid but they never learn from experience.

Rudyard Kipling

Dane-Geld

It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
To call upon a neighbour and to say: —
“We invaded you last night—we are quite prepared to fight,
Unless you pay us cash to go away.”

And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
And the people who ask it explain
That you’ve only to pay ‘em the Dane-geld
And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!

It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say: —
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”

And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
You never get rid of the Dane.

It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
For fear they should succumb and go astray;
So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
You will find it better policy to say: —

“We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”
