I would certainly entertain the entertaining explanation that a mod or lib would waste in the process of explaining the meaning of this particular sentence.

Like back in the day when the Brits were planning on invading the Falklands, Johnny Carson came out with some brilliant innuendos such as showing up in ‘waders’ and saying that after several months at sea, the waders may come in handly considering the sheep population so he wanted to corner the market on waders-
‘they’ also spread the floor with tootsie rolls(?) one night and he was explaining how hard it would be for the ‘invading force’ to advance...

I find it ironic that a woman appears to be fighting the robots. I think your ‘competition’ comment hits a little too close to home for some.....
Men are becoming less interested in spending their time and money just to get the “approval” of women.
Women have decided that they want all of the same rights as men, but to still be perused with dates, gifts, and attention. Next, they then get to spend lavish amounts of money for a wedding. And to, if it comes to divorce (most started by women), to have the ability to take half of his money and still get alimony payments while jumping in bed with some new guy.
Guys have figured out the con and are walking away.
And the robot that will “just listen without being judgmental” and “just wants to cuddle”... that will be flying off the cybershelves.
I wonder what the hourly rate would be in Las Vegas?

I say these machines will be one of the greatest inventions for society. The amount of waste, pain and suffering due to the human sex drive is staggering.
Once robots are common, sex will be available on demand without disease, pregnancy or human trafficking.
People will then have to offer much more than sex/looks to attract a mate. And sex could no longer be used for control in a relationship.
And those who truly only care about sex will stop playing games and get what they want without hurting anyone.
Robots will eventually become more sexually attractive than humans but I consider that a GOOD thing. When the physical act of sex becomes irrelevant, we will finally only care about people for their soul rather than for their reproductive ability.
Right now society is pure madness mostly because of sex. Men are accumulating junk and putting their grandchildren in debt mainly just to show off for women.
