CNN debate changed nothing but rearrange the seats of 2nd, 3rd and 4th place

Posted on 09/17/2015 8:16:32 AM PDT by Bigtigermike

This overdrawn out debate being milked by CNN will change very little of this early primary season race . Many claim that Trump lost a bit a luster in the debate, now that's up for debate, no pun intended, but most Trump supporters are not going to go and jump ship to Carly or Rubio or Carson now. What's going to happen is that Carly Fiorina, if she is gaining support, will most likely pull supporters of other losing candidates like Bush, Walker or Carson into her corner. It's all about who is the anti-Trump candidate for some GOP voters and the GOP establishment for sure. Trump supporters aren't going anywhere and most certainly will not go to Carly saved for maybe Cruz

Not according to Frank Luntz's group who polled after the "debate". 3/4 raised their hands to indicate they came into the "debate" as Trump supporters. After GOPe Frank ask who now supports Fia-RINO, 3/4 held up their hands. The science is settled.

Give it a week to get digested, then let’s see what the polls say.

I thought Trump carried himself with more dignity and maturity last night. Yeah, he shot off his mouth, but not to the usual extent.

What’s Up With That?

(lol)

Good guess, mike. I just pushed the “up” meter and you’re now trending well.

We are seeing the Peter Principle in action and how it works:

DEFINITION OF ‘PETER PRINCIPLE’

An observation that in an organizational hierarchy, every employee will rise or get promoted to his or her level of incompetence. The Peter Principle is based on the notion that employees will get promoted as long as they are competent, but at some point will fail to get promoted beyond a certain job because it has become too challenging for them. Employees rise to their level of incompetence and stay there. Over time, every position in the hierarchy will be filled by someone who is not competent enough to carry out his or her new duties.

BREAKING DOWN ‘PETER PRINCIPLE’
The Peter Principle was first observed by Dr. Laurence J. Peter and published in his book “The Peter Principle” in 1968. Dr. Peter also states that a promotion to the higher-ranking job position may not necessarily reveal the employee’s incompetence, but rather the new position may require different skills the employee does not possess. Dr. Peter sums up the Peter Principle with the saying: “the cream rises until it sours.” The Peter Principal can be a problem for businesses which can be solved through continued education. Even with proper employee training, the Peter Principal predicts the employee will eventually get to a position where they are incompetent because of further promotion.

I feel that Trump did better today than his previous debate

The biggest loser here was CNN, when the Republican contenders, in an almost concerted effort, took control of the debate AWAY from Jake Tapper, and rendered Hugh Hewitt and Dana Bash virtually impotent. The sharpest shots came from Chris Christie, and John Kasich was almost as pointed in his criticism of the moderator and panel.

The Donald was pretty much in bob and weave mode, and to his credit, managed to avoid any lasting damage. His overall lead was whittled down a little, but not to the point of crash-and-burn.

Yet.

In my extended family, there is a very suggestible bipolar member who can be easily talked into a 180 degree change of belief when off meds. On meds, everything is solid. I wonder about the people in Luntz’s group...

Trump is in rare company. It pretty much doesn’t matter what he says or does, it doesn’t change people’s mind on him. Obama and the boy wonder Clinton has this ability.

If he is the nominee, I’ll vote for him, but not until the only other choice is a Democrat.

In New York on 710 WOR radio, every news break leads with many experts say Fiorina won the debate and Chris Christie did so well that he is going rise in the polls. That’s the top story after the debate and they’re sticking to it.

If I could only be a Fox host for 30 seconds, I would have asked:

“Hey Frank, any reason to believe this group of bozos reflect the national mood any better than your last group of asylum escapees?”

At the beginning, Putz asked for a show of hands. About 2/3rds indicated they were switching to Fio-RINO. At the end of the segment, maybe five minutes later, he asked the question again - only about a third did. Now there’s diehard support!

Remember Monty Python’s Beatles takeoff, The Ruttles? Their slogan was, “A musical legend which will last a lunchtime.”

Does anyone actually believe reliable results can be obtained from people twisting a dial while listening to a speech or a debate? “Hi tech” stupididity.

At present, I might agree. I might even show up in the primary season to vote in the Demo primary rather than the Republican primary, and slide another vote to Bernie (just in hope of making this kinda interesting in November).

Too many people out there with first hand personal knowledge that Carly is incompetent.

I doubt many Cruz votes will go there in any case (if you are serious). Luntz is an establishment whore and his panels are fixed to get a party line out.

If I am Trump, I skipped last nights "debate" and then gave my responses on Twitter. No reason for him to continue to play the establishment defined game.

fioRINO is just taming of the bossy shrew.

She is the annoying ex-wife,

the annoying ex-girlfriend

the annoying woman who is upset you would NEVER date her.

she believes her poop does not stink. (it is not HER fault the hp titanic sank while she was captain)

This race is a barrel. Fiorina is a fish.
If she is nominated the general election will be like
shooting fish in a barrel for Democrats. There is
THAT much negative stuff floating around about her
tenure at HP.

Fiorina was anointed to take out trump.

She has no state to offer. She only is a woman vote splitter.

Luntz is a demonstrated push poll hitman and it seems he can manipulate his gauges to be a little fast or slow.
